Dumpling Lin

Unbelievably good! Some of the best beef dumplings I've had and the rest are outstanding too. Spring roll and prawn toast are highlights also. You can tell that there is love and time put into each mouthful. Super reasonable prices and delicious. The chili oil is super tasty too! We will be back. Amazing. Delicious.

I recently had a fantastic lunch at Dumpling Lin in Frankston and I can't wait to share my experience. The highlight of my meal was the mouthwatering combination of their freshly made dumplings and flavorful noodles.

The moment I entered the restaurant, I was captivated by the sight of the dumplings being prepared right in front of me. It was a treat to witness the skilled chefs expertly folding and shaping the dumplings with such precision. Knowing they were made fresh only heightened my anticipation.

When my meal arrived, I was delighted by the delightful aroma that wafted from the bowl. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the flavors were simply divine. The simplicity of the dish allowed the quality ingredients to shine through, resulting in a truly satisfying and authentic experience.

One of the standout aspects of Dumpling Lin is their reasonable prices. Considering the exceptional quality and portion sizes, I found the value for money to be outstanding. It's not often that you come across a restaurant that offers such high-quality food at such affordable prices.

This place is a shambles, got food a couple of times, every single time my phone order is never ready, they don’t take a name. Tonight I placed a phone order, they said 15mins, I arrive 15 mins later, wait in line for 10 mins while the 2 ladies are incompetently trying to juggle 15 things at once and not completing any orders. They take phone orders instead of serving anyone (even though they don’t make the phone orders? !? !) when I finally got served my food wasn’t ready, and they told me it would be 10 minutes, I just left. The dumplings aren’t worth the wait, the place is gross and the staff are genuinely useless, I’ve never seen a place where their sole business is takeaway food be so bad at it. Go somewhere else literally any other dumpling shop is better.

My Frist time ordering from lin dumplings. I got chicken and prawn dumplings that was tasty and full of flavour plus pork and chive dumplings they are delicious.
I also ordered a dumpling and noodle soup and I am very happy with my order.

Amazing unchanged recipes that are so delicious and flavourful, the staff are lovely and the resturant is very comfortable

Wow wow wow those dumplings are amazing Lin and her Daughter make them every day hand made in front of you.only sad thing it's closed 3 days a week.but they are worth the wait

Traditional dumpling place on beach street, where you can see them making and cooking the dumplings fresh! The food is simply delicious, and the spicy dipping sauce is a must have! One of my favourite places to get both lunch and dinner!

Hand made dumplings that are so amazing. Get some frozen ones for easy access!

I’ve eaten many dumplings over many years. These are the best I’ve ever tasted. I called and ordered some frozen vegetarian dumplings. They cooked well at home - both steamed and also in the air fryer. Beware - there’s not too much oil in these dumplings - That’s a good thing. The pastry is outstanding and the filling is fresh and tasty. This appears to be a family operation- They’re doing so well with their dumpling production. I will buy many more dumplings and I hope others will too -This establishment deserves all the dumping related patronage.

Delicious takeaway in Frankston! We are not spoilt for choice here and it’s so nice to have a local restaurant that is tasty!

Count your dumplings, when you receive them, for I did and I only had eleven but paid for twelve. Dissapointed & sad I felt. Why was I so unlucky.

Only open 3 days a week
I said why not make more as is losing business

Well I have no choice but to join all the other raving reviews of dumpling lin. She has done the basics to perfection, soft juicy and tasty dumplings! Cooked to the the optimal temperature and the causes compliment the dish down to level. We'll be back for sure.

These dumplings are amazing! All of their food is fresh made in house, service is fast & prices are really reasonable. I've tried many different dumplings all over Melbourne & these are definitely up in the top 5!

Great quality dumplings. I ordered both steamed and frozen as well as the dumplings with noodles in soup. Everything tastes so fresh. Very friendly staff as well. Have not tried the vegetarian dumplings so cannot vouch for those.
