Dumpling King

My girlfriend was craving lemon chicken so I ordered from this place. For $23, the portion size was abysmal, the sauce that came separately tasted like chemicals, and the chicken was more batter then actual chicken. Horredous, absolutely horrible, In summary, my dog whom eats everything hasn't touched his food, and I can safely say the passion for cooking authentic Chinese cuisine has died long ago with these guys.

Have eaten here multiple times, both dine-in and takeout. The food is always outstanding. Most recently had a wonton soup and char kway teow, both of which were fresh and full of flavour.

Fast, friendly service and great atmosphere too. My go to recommendation for Richmond ️

Cheeky little gem on Swan Street for Chinese classics. Great option in the area for tasty dumplings, steamed buns and rice dishes.

We are sitting here, right now - watched our salt and pepper squid go to another table. Was left for 5 mins in-front of 3 people who tossed through it… they sent it back, it sat in the kitchen for 2 mins and then delivered unapologetically to our table. When we explained the issue they didn’t care, they made no effort to apologies - they should be reported for unsafe food handling. Do not go

Lovely staff. Tasty food. However, the pan-fried dumplings are questionable. The dumplings are deep fried not pan fried. There was no flavor

Stopped in for dinner on the weekend and had a lovely meal. Good food (great fried string beans with mince pork) and fast service.

A LOT better than it used to be. Portions and food is great, cooked fresh, service was very welcoming. Lots of people locals avoided them a couple of years ago (justifiably), but it looks like they've stepped up the game. Would recommend.

Takeaway was dry. Pan fried dumplings were clearly deep fried and the vegetable dumplings had no flavour. The dumpling skin was chewy. Expensive dinner for sub par food.

The food here is always pretty good. Certainly can't complain there. The service is pretty standard, friendly but nothing spectacular.

Could the staff be more sullen and devoid of any concept of customer service. New owners, they’ve transformed service and the quality of the food. Great news

I highly recommend this place, the dumplings are amazing and the sizzling Mongolian beef is so yummy and so tender, they have great chefs. Its a little more expensive than other chinese restaurant but it's worth it for the Quality of the food

Possibly got them on a bad day and it was also an Uber delivered meal, still, very ordinary chicken and prawn dumplings unfortunately. Possibly the worst I’ve ever had but this again is possibly a one off, so I’ll dine in to give a second chance some day.

Very clean and spacious restaurant in the heart of Richmond. The owners are friendly and very happy to offer menu selections. There is a great selection of noodle and dumpling dishes. Definitely worth a visit to eat in or take away.

I love the vegetarian dumplings and vegetable rice here! The service is super fast and very friendly. It’s also BYO (only $4 per bottle)

This spot is a great cheap option - but also super filling. And then you can go for a dance and drink down the road after!

This is my go to dumpling place in Richmond, they have a very extensive menu and everything I've had there has been fantastic. Price are good, service is great, top spot
