Dukkah Restaurant

Had heard great things about this place and was very excited to give it a try. We had the Share Platter for 2 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole spread. The chicken shish tawook and rice pilaf were definitely a highlight but all of our food was delicious and gorgeously presented. I'm taking off a star since i felt the customer service and ambience of the restaurant was off. Considering it was a quiet Sunday afternoon, our service was very slow and our waitress never came up to ask us if we needed anything extra or to check if our food was ok. She also was quick to make assumptions on whether we finished our meals and came up to our table and grabbed our plates without asking if we had finished. There was also no music or atmosphere in the restaurant which would have been nice to have. The restaurant was also very cold with the vents turned on and I could hear other tables complaining about the chill too. I would definitely come back again for the food but I hope that the service and atmosphere improves.

Fab restaurant. The food is excellent - dips are great, the calamari is also excellent along with the chicken tagine and the mixed grill. A great place for friends to go a share amazing food. The wine list is not extensive, however it is very well priced and the Pinot was a great addition to the meal!

Came back after a years absence on a cold autumn evening. Walked into a warm and inviting restaurant. Good food, good atmosphere, good company. Pity I missed the Jazz night

The food was sensational! A special shout out to the Chicken Shawarma Tagine which was amazing, but every dish we had was wonderful. We can't wait to come back again!

Had a lovely meal here. The service and food was great. We have typically ordered this by Uber but will be attending in person going forward. Highly recommended.

I’m giving this review as a delivery driver. One of the amazing staff I have ever seen. Such a generous team. Treat everyone so nicely. I don’t know whether they get a special customer service training or not. But they are really nice. ️

It may look like a small suburban restaurant but the food is really excellent and the service is very good. I thoroughly recommend it.

Called the restaurant on 14/12/20 to make a dinner reservation for 4 people on the 22/12/20. Spoke to a lady who took down the reservation as well as my name and number. Rocked up to the restaurant on the date booked to find a note stating they are closed for Christmas from the 21st! I didn't even receive a courtesy call to cancel the reservation so we wasted our time heading to the restaurant, then had to find another venue last minute which was less than ideal! Not happy at all and would not come back to this restaurant after this experience. What horrible service taking a reservation on a date that your restaurant is closed and not bothering to call me to advise of the issue. Not happy at all!

We love this place and feel lucky to live around the corner. The cheese cigars are a must- we order them every time. I love the chicken shawarma tagine; the flavours are just so good. It's a big serving so I always save some for lunch the next day. My wife loves the burger with haloumi.so yum. We came with a group for my birthday last year and had a banquet and everything was super tasty.the lamb kofta skewers and the stuffed vine leaves were next level. The owners are also very lovely people. Can't wait to be able to dine in again, but for now we are happy to get takeaway)

Oh my goodness! The best! I had the vegan chicken shawarma tagine and the tabouli Salad.unbelievably tasty so well prepared with serving sizes that are just right! Bravo! This meal was delivered by a 3rd party app.but I am looking forward to going in to the restaurant as soon as that is possible! A new one for the favourite list!

Really enjoyed the food at Dukkak. The whole restaurant has a lovely vibe. We were particularly impressed with how nice the servers were. We've been here before but tonight looked particularly busy and they did a great job. We had the cheese sticks, roasted eggplant and lamb tagine but previously had the share platter and have never been disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food!
I had the vegan Chicken Shawarma and if I didn’t know it was vegan I wound sworn it had meat in it.
