He pushes you to the limit of only what you’re comfortable with; and would never force you to do anything you’re not.
If you’re looking for a PT that exceeds your expectations, and goes above and beyond in the profession, Michael is highly recommended for this role.
He provides a full plan for you to follow and is only a message away when you need him!

I've been coming to Dukes gym Richmond for the past few months and I highly rate this gym.
Jonno and Michael have been great setting me up on a program where I am really seeing results.
I was tired of big gyms that have PTs who aren't looked after and that comes out in the quality of the coaching. The team here are invested in your progress.
I always find joining a new gym nerve racking and I have joined a fair few in the past where they just didn't seem inclusive. I think anyone would feel welcome at Dukes.
I also like they have an onsite Physio and have appreciated the work Dave has done with a small shoulder issue I've been having.
I think Jonno and the team should be really proud of what they have built here and can see myself being a member for a very long time.
The first gym where I don’t need/want to have headphones on while training - the music (EDM) is good.
Looks like a good gym, but sort of impossible to get in to train. I was down from Brisbane and just wanted to come in for a causal session durring staff hours but was told that I needed to book and there was no bookings available.
I’ve been working out at Dukes for the past 2 years. Nothing but good things to say about the gym itself and staff. I especially like the women’s only space which is hard to come by in Richmond.

Great local gym and good trainers as well. They helped me turn around my fitness in a comfortable environment. Good equipment and super high ceilings so helps with air flow throughout the place
I’ve been a member at Duke’s for over a year and I really enjoy training there. The staff are all very friendly and there is a wide range of equipment that is all very well maintained. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re on the lookout for a new gym.
Such a great gym! The female-only area is a great size with a huge range of equipment. The staff are lovely and are always happy to help out should you need anything.
Starting at Dukes Gym has been great - it has everything I need, including a females only section ample amounts of equipment and amazingly friendly staff. I signed up for PT with Patrick, and I couldn’t be happier! He is so supportive, able to understand my abilities and strengths and has really helped me set up solid plan to keep me motivated to coming back into the gym. It's a great friendly team and I highly recommend this gym and personal training with Patrick
As a first time gym goer, I was always nervous about starting a fitness journey. Thankfully, I’ve always felt so comfortable and welcomed by the team at Dukes. The environment and facilities are perfect for my needs. If anyone is looking to start a new fitness venture, make sure you check out Patrick as your PT, he’s always booked out, but definitely worth the waitlist! He always brings the fun, makes anyone feel comfortable and ready for the gym and helped my smash my goals.
Moving to Melbourne I was looking for a gym that I enjoyed going to. I joined dukes with my housemate and have never looked forward to going to the gym more! The women’s only section is fantastic at Richmond, open and airy and a welcoming safe space. Jonno always makes PT fun and am hitting more PBs than ever before. Highly recommend!
Great gym, great atmosphere! I’ve been training with Tess and she is incredible. If you’re looking for a personalised approach to fitness with an instructor who guides you through each movement and pushes you to work hard (in a good way) I strongly recommend you book in a session with Tess and achieve your fitness goals in a fun and rewarding environment!
Really enjoying the experience at Dukes Richmond! My personal trainer, Tess, is amazing! She understood what I wanted out of my time at the gym and created a plan that suited my requirements. She is very supportive and takes the time to explain the process which I appreciate during the training sessions. The facilities at the gym are great too!
Great location, plenty of parking nearby, friendly staff and all the equipment you need for a solid workout

I have had the most amazing time with Tess at Dukes. Since the very beginning she understood my goals and has built a program that has not only help me achieved my vision but smash it within the few months I have been with her. She is extremely committed and has made me feel very strong and powerful. Could not recommend her enough, even if I tried!
