I rang this company at 4.05pm on a Friday night as Mum & Dads Vacumn motor blew. Spoke with Steve and by 11am on the Saturday morning he comes out and delivers a brand new unit plus installs it.
You just WILL not get service like this in this day and age.

We have just installed the new AstroVac in conjunction with home renovations and I must say it operates better than expected. This unit replaces one installed from your company over 30 years ago, which by the way is still going strong and was passed on to our daughter.

Our AstroVac ducted vacuum system had performed flawlessly for 22 years and when it broke down I called AstroVac and Steve diagnosed the problem and suggested it was going to be more cost-effective to upgrade to a new CL1500 unit rather than try to repair/replace the ageing CL1200 unit's circuit board. 24 hours later the new CL1500 arrived and I was able to easily fit it where the broken unit had been installed thanks to Steve's expert advice received over the phone.

We've had a problem with our ducted vacuum with low suction.
I rang Astro Vac and spoke to Albert, I was trying to ascertain what the root cause of the low suction could be, he gave me some pointers in terms of checking the filter that was housed below the motor.
I was capable of removing the motor, found the metal gauze filter blocked, after cleaning and testing the vacuum was back to normal suction.

When I had a problem with an older model vac system I thought I would be up for a new replacement system. Steve and the guys at Astrovac were able to fix the problem immediately with no fuss at all and a very quick turnaround, Its rare to find that kind of good old fashioned service and "nothings a problem" attitude these days. Well done guys, FANTASTIC!

By far the best customer service, quality and value for money around when it comes to ducted vacuums. Bought a house with a 12 years Astrovac ducted vacuum model that needed to be changed. Called the number on the box with zero knowledge of what to get or how to replace the thing. I was able to talk to someone immediately (Steve) being told what the issue was and what options were for replacement.settle a similar model.the whole pack was sent next day via start rack, no messing around.just got the unit after 2 working days (and I live in regional Victoria). The model are made in a way to fit the older installation. Unscrewed a few screws from the all bracket, remove the pipe of the wall, replace with the new unit, put everything back and every thing is working perfectly. I mean I have not had that sort of experience in ages. Long live local family owned business that knows what they are doing. Highly recommended

I recently replaced a Hurricane 1400 central vac power unit, originally obtained from this firm some 39 years ago with a Typhoon 1700 and enjoyed the same friendly service and assistance as in the past. It was again a pleasure to do business with this long established firm who pride themselves on quality, largely locally made central vacuum products, and customer service.

We order online and received prompt delivery to WA. The unit was easy to install and works great. Service was friendly.
