Sunday 11th Jan.poor service and rude staff behind counter. Ordered breakfast and they forgot our drinks. Asked 2 times and still no drinks. Person behind counter was rude. Would not recommend coming here.

The place is packed for breaky on a weekend, and I can't really understand why. The food is meh. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The workers seem to be very familiar and friendly with the regulars, I'm guessing that's why they like it? Waited a while before someone gave me a menu or asked to take my order. They came out with an eftpos machine at my table and got me to pay while ordering (this was a new experience for me, but I guess I can understand as they're busy and it might be hard to keep track of who has paid).
The area needs to get a bit more competition for cafes I would say, as I'd say this one is mediocre.

A lovely Cafe and plenty of room. Indoors and out. A great range of meals or just cake and coffee.

Had a really tasty lunch 23/11 and was impressed with the chicken schnitzel focaccia and parma. Excellent service and good value. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

What is going on at DOTF.
I go in there regularly for a coffee and muffin but lately the lovely guy who usually serves me is missing but thank God the tall Barista guy is still there as he is the only one who seems to know what they are doing.
On the last four occasions on which I have ordered my usual treat they have got my order right once. Grrrr. I'm not going back in until the usual guy returns.

A lazy Sunday afternoon and prior to doing last minute grocery shopping, we decided to head in this cafe, the last cafe to close around the area.

Service & Ambience [4] Friendly staff and still with a smile despite we coming to an hour before closing. The staff already started cleaning up but welcome customers who wanna coffee.

Food [4] We had our regular coffee and ordered a lemon cake, and we love it especially the staff warm it up. We would like to try their food one day, so will be back.

What a find: just the best of the best coffee 11 out 10! My mug double shot flat white was smooth, balanced, rich, and mellow lingering syruppy after-taste - superb - no bitterness that can come with double shots. My wife had a cappuccino - and RARELY ever has a second, but after a sip of mine, wanted a second without the chocolate distracting: she loved the latte.
But it is not just the coffee: the food - great offerings of lunch (and breakfast menu looked good) all at really reasonable prices - enjoyed the chicken wrap and baguette we shared and then great berry muffin for desert- out in the well covered area, cool day, nice radiant heaters. Just had to go back in and thank the owner-barista who told me his name was Taun.

Very extensive menu prepared by lots of people working very efficiently together. A happy environment full of people enjoying lunch with friends.

My family and I went for breakfast. Never been here. Food is exellent, presentation exellent and best of it all the price was very affordable compared to all the other restaurants I've been too. You'll see us back.

Ducky in the Field is my family's favourite for Sunday brunnches, great atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy food at very reasonable prices, and the best coffee.we all pop in there most days, Highly recommend

Was there after 130pm.most of the yummy sweets like muffins and vanilla slices are gone.went for a simple roasted pork sandwich and a mocha. Friend had a pumpkin quiche with salad and a mocha. We shared a flourless lemon slice. Still yummy and would have to be there early to get more choices especially the pastries.
Price is reasonable. Would be back again.

Back for lunch again… burgers/sandwiches with shake and iced mocha…. Satisfied.
