Ducky Brown Cafe

Lovely food, but the only Aussie was so bloody rude, rude to customers and staff and there is no reason for it. I feel bad for everyone having to deal with her, she is a disgusting human being.

We're not local but when in Somerville we drop by for a quick bite to eat. So many food choices that everyone is catered for from a sandwich to fish and chips. Great spot and will go back.

This cafe is clean, staff are ok and service is fast. It's a bit noisy when it's really busy. Usually the food is great with reasonable prices but yesterday I ordered a turkey Focaccia and found the turkey tasted slightly off, which was not nice.so don't order turkey!

We're long time customers who always enjoy the service and good food. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

Bustling place, really good coffee & I enjoyed the chicken satay wrap for lunch. Recommend a visit!

This is a must stop to enjoy great coffee/tea/Chai and food! The place is cosy, the staff are lovely. I found this place by googling, I start work at 5am and this is perfect for that morning break!

Rude service - having booked a table for Mother’s Day for an hr and a half we were asked to “move on” after not quite an hour.
Having travelled to the venue to get the family together for a special breakfast this was very disappointing.

It is a very pretty cafe, with lovely helpful staff. I ordered an eggs Benedict and my husband ordered a steak sandwich. My meal was delicious, fresh and served quickly. However the steak, in the sandwich, was over cooked and tough.the side serving of chips were also very good

This little shop is fast run, great staff, food & coffee.
Always clean! Huge range of food. The place to go for a coffee date!

Was very busy day food was great and came out nice and hot, only issue was with drinks we ordered took the whole meal to get my coffee and had to ask 3 times while the other 3 drinks ordered came out slowly and not together, table who came after us got their drinks all together and with their meal, I ended up having to get my coffee to go as we had finished our meals by this time, again was very busy so giving benefit of doubt for this, for again was great and the service was friendly

Communication from staff could be better. No one approaced me, I had to work out their ordering system myself.
However, food was good.

What an amazing breakfast. Eggs Florentine with Bacon. Five Star Food and service. Highly recommended. Try what I had you'll never be the same again. Can't wait to go back again.

Came here for breakfast and couldn’t fault it the only place that cooks your eggs the way you specify. Coffee was perfect and the atmosphere is good. The only issue l could find was some of the interior could do with a renovation as the bench seat l was sitting on was all ripped. The foam padding was exposed and probably isn’t the best look.
But since we went there for the food and not the furniture l still gave it 5 stars.

Been there with me mates just a few days and it was an amazing experience. Burger was massive but it didn't stop me from enjoying it.

Very very nice, food is delicious and fast to arrive at your table and plenty of it depending what you order. I got big breakfast and OMG it was big.

Pretty good coffee. Staff are usually friendly. Think table service could liven the place up, and help it feel less like a school cafeteria. Bacon often undercooked.

This was my go to coffee shop when i was able to start work a little later in the morning, staff always remember your name and what coffee you order. Great spot
