D'Tandoor Restaurant

I would like to recommend D'Tandoor. They are my all time favourite. Love their Mughlai Korma, Lamb Rogan Josh, Sahi Paneer with authentic Indian taste. Maintain good level of flavours, spices and oil with perfect and unique taste. Customer services are excellent and staffs are too friendly. I have been getting takeaways from here for long time.

Went in to order today for the first time
And holy god do I feel robbed
I ordered 2 curries and some rice and was charged 51 dollars for it.
At this point I was thinking maybe it’s pricey but must be because the food is fresh or cooked to order?

The chef literally comes out of the kitchen scoops some curry that has been sitting there all day so over 12 hours
Warms it up in a pan and gives it to me.

I know a lot of Indian places do this

But they definitely don’t charge such prices for warmed up food that was cooked yesterday or 12 hours before and been just sitting in a cooler

The food is alright but kinda expensive.the old man who serves people is very rude and not pleasant not a good experience. The girl in the back is the only one who said thank you to a customer and said have a goodnight. Man needs to retire or hire someone else to work for him.

Would not recommend. Ordered takeaway via Uber eats for the company to deliver the order themselves. The driver didn’t follow the very basic instructions of dropping it off outside the apartment door due to needing to isolate with covid.

I rang the restaurant at 9.17pm to follow up on this and they advised that they would reach out to the driver and come back to me. An hour goes past and nothing from the restaurant.

Absolutely appalling customer service.

I ordered food and by the time it arrived it was inedible and cold to the touch, this is a food health safety risk and unacceptable I will not be ordering this again

It's okay okay. Don't expect the taste to be the same as what you would have in India or Pakistan. However, it can be a good place to order food if other authentic Indian or Pakistani restaurant don't deliver food to your area i.e, glenferrie hawthorn region.

Had severe stomach ache after there food!
Most of the naan was undercooked and the place was dirty too. Really disappointed.
They are situated in such prime location, but still lack elementary food service, cooking and management skills.

Amazing indian food, fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the thaali for just 10 or 12 bucks. Food is fresh and tasty and made right in front of you.

Average Indian food. A couple workers were not wearing masks during the period where it was mandatory which I found was disrespectful.

Ordered from here after walking past and fancying a nice curry. Ordered a butter chicken for me (I don't like spice but can deal with a tiny bit) which should be the mildest thing on the menu but it was SO spicy! I didn't realise I'd have to ask to have a butter chicken extra mild? Also the poppadoms we ordered were all stale, they were horrible! I would of expected to at least have edible food from this place. My husband's lamb bhuna was also not pleasent. Waste of money for us and very annoying as I couldn't eat much of it as my mouth was on fire.

Horrible indian food, would not recommend. Second to the food being bad, just got a mango lassi and there is a hair in it. Don't buy here

I like Indian food, and this restaurant has a good amount of vegetables.however as for food, I don't like all dishes, so if I had to go ahead and order something, I would have been disappointed, but I wouldn't eat any other type of food.

Third class Indian restaurant. Food is not good. Their Thali is half rice and half curry. I would avoid this place in future.

Good food, great service, reasonable prices. This is my favourite Indian restaurant near my home.

The lunch buffet is huge and delicious. Tons to choose from for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Several things that you don’t see on a standard Indian buffet but also all the usual stuff. You won't be disappointed and very reasonable prices. Clean and inviting atmosphere. I was blown away by the quality of the food. I can't wait to go back!

Kebabs were hard like rock. Food is expensive but quality and taste was worst. Would not recommend to anyone

Worst indian food I’ve ever experienced, no taste whatsoever in the curry and you’re honestly better off chuking down a plastic bottle rather than eating the seekh kebabs.

I been to many Indian restaurant but this is the worst food I have ever had. It's like a hospital.never recommend anyone waste of money.

The food was stale and tasteless, curries were not good enough and the starters were undercooked. On top of that there was no customer service so I reckon you're better of eating something out of a dump rather than this place. Extremely disappointed.

Friendly communications and service. Nice place and pleasant tasteful dining space. Excellent food and customer service at the best price. Large variety. Good amount of chicken. Delicious sauce.
Some veg would be good too, Happy to return.
