It was conveyed to me that my business was no longer appropriate, but it was not fully explained to me why to a level that I completely understood. Yes, I was provided recommended resources though. ****

I was a client here for about 6 months, and it went very well during that time. Lovely and professional staff.

However there was a breakdown in the relationship with my psychologist (on her end, I didn't have issues). Since then, I have had difficulties getting in contact with staff and getting information about a new psychologist. I was promised on multiple occasions that I would be contacted about my request, however this never occurred. Terrible customer service during this time period, and I felt very slighted at the treatment I received. I have since managed to get in contact with a manager who has informed me that the psychologists are not currently taking on new clients, however, this would have been an easy phone call and resolution to contact me when they said they would and inform me of this, rather than me having to chase them as to why I was being ignored

(I cannot speak highly enough of the girls at admin though. They are lovely)

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Makayla for her on going support. I have found Makayla to be very helpful and professional. I’m eternally grateful to have met someone who has always been kind and has a caring nature.

I've had 3 children assessed, diagnosed and treated here and can't sing their praises high enough! Fantastic admin & amazing Psychologists who have made a difference in our life.

Everything here is great! From reception to the psychologist to the location and the very cosy spaces inside. So glad to find DS psychology.

I am so incredibly grateful for the support I received from my therapist and the team at DS. As a health professional myself, I know how important mental health is, and I cannot fault the service or experience I have had from this service.

Mum saw Vicki a few weeks ago. She thought Vicki was great and came back much better. She had 3 appointments confirmed at the time - because they were booked up due to covid. Spent $130 getting there and back today but they'd cancelled her and booked somebody else in for her appointment that was made over a month ago. They apologised and said they'd mixed it up, phoned and said sorry, it was an admin error - then silence. Now they're telling me she 'seemed to think' she had an appointment.
Treated very badly this morning and wouldn't recommend to anybody unless they wanted to get worse.
Stay away.

I saw the same person others complained about Susan Gavan I gave her a chance saw her 6 weeks found her to be really ineffective and frustrating in hindsight I wish I left sooner she is a massive time waster.

I saw Susan Gavan she seemed willfully ignorant as I cannot imagine someone accidentally getting as much wrong as she did. She was unable to comprehend the most basic things and her profile suggests she has knowledge training and experience in areas that truly baffle her.

She was condescending and obtuse, missing the point of what I was saying rather than clarifying anything she would go off on tangents based on wrong conclusions and write notes that effectively outlined her inability to comprehend the most basic premises which I later read as she wrote a report she sent to my doctor without my consent every single word of what she wrote was astonishingly ignorant condescending and incorrect.

I mailed paperwork to DS Psychology to make an appointment for the person I care for with mental health issues showing their background history. They made an appt with one Psychologist, then cancelled. They made another appt with another Pschologist then cancelled. They made another appt with another Psychologist then cancelled. Then they made another appointment.then cancelled. Forget it. What a waste of my time. I have not got mental health issues but after dealing with that I could not handle any more cancellations. Makes the person I care for feeling unwanted when I told him the appt is cancelled again. They should of told me 'They are fully booked and go elsewhere'. They never did and got my hopes up. Go elsewhere.

Saw Susan Gavan she was a terribly slow dim witted person I thought because she was older she may have learned more and had more experience but in reality she is just figuring out a new field very late in life and practising on people who need a professional, which results in wasting their time and money while she fumbles about figuring out concepts people less than half her age already have good foundational knowledge in.

Helpful staff when i called to book in, got an appointment pretty quickly! & close to the station.

A non caring attitude exist among the customer service. I called the call the day before to cancel appointment but was still charged FULL FEES. Not Great Customer experience and would not recommend them AT ALL!
