Drummond Golf

Purchased a gift for my bro-in-law here on Saturday. They have a great range of golf apparel from sale items to high-end labels. Young sales assistant was friendly and extremely helpful. Appreciated him inviting me join as a member, there is a small, once off fee. However, he pointed out that with the discounts, I'd save on my purchases - in effect the membership paid for itself! Best of all my bro-in-law was over the moon with his gifts.

James is an absolute pleasure to deal with always there to provide assistance, very knowledgeable, got custom fit for clubs, safe to say I am playing the best golf I have ever played, thank you James B

All I can say is that they have horrible after sales service and very average in store service. I would recommend any other golf store or pro shop before shopping here.

I took my old Callaway Optiforce driver into Drummond golf in Carnegie to do a comparison with the latest Drivers. No point upgrading if there’s only 10m difference. James set me up in a booth and I warmed up with a 7 iron. I then hit 10 or so with my driver and James handed me with a Cobra King. It was a bit underwhelming and only 5-10 metre's further than mine. I then had a crack with the Taylormade Sim and again okayish, but not what I was hoping for. Then a Ping which was pretty good, but still not consistent or long enough to warrant the expense.
He then gave me a Callaway Epic Max, I hit it 7 times, pulled one left and hit 6 Drives within 5 metres of each other and all 20 metre's passed my average Optiforce Distance. My swing speed also jumped up from 98-100mph to 104-106.
I bought it and took it down to Brighton Golf Course to try it out. I was not disappointed. I know Brighton is short, but I had 3 Eagle putts (converted all 3 in to birdies) and had 5 birdies for the round. I finished with a plus 11, equalling my best ever round!
The driver was amazing and the more I hit it the more confident I became. I'm having a hit down at RACV Cape Shanck so hopefully the Callaway Epic Max proves itself again on a real test of Golf.

Exceptional, above and beyond service

I have been a customer of DG Carnegie since March and I wanted to say thank you to Shaun for everything he has done to help me choose the right equipment for my game. Shaun's service goes well beyond the call of duty and he always asks the right questions to tailor the equipment he recommends to suit my individual needs. Golf can be expensive, but I always feel that my purchase is the right choice given the knowledge Shaun has about the products he recommends. It can be easy to be lured to cheap, online alternatives with no sizing options available - but golf gear is not something to cut corners and not have someone like Shaun tailor to your individual needs.

Great guys to get along with professionally and personally. Great deal of knowledge and skill with what they are doing as fitters and facilitators. Always willing and ready to discuss ideas with you and make available the opportunity to test and try equipment.
They never make you feel bad or give you any less of a service if you don't end up buying something. Instead they make sure you always walk out having recieved top level customer service. Which is the core foundation in retail for what brings in new customers and keeps existing customers coming back; myself especially!

Always great service at this store. They seem to know their products and were very mindful of our current restrictions but it didn't impact the service. Much better experience than buying online

Decent range of equipment, not much discounts or specials except for once a year sales or with Drummond membership. Staff at this particular store weren't the friendliest and helpful when I came in with my father (who's an avid golfer at 74!), was looking for replacement driver shafts for my Titleist driver but couldn't help ended up purchasing off ebay.
