I was represented by a lawyer Keiron Burke as a duty lawyer. After he adjourned my case and had my evidence and only copy of evidence. And telling him if there was fees I did not have funds. Being told he would chat to his boss, he later quoted 5k. Telling me I could not get legal aid. I got legal aid and was good to go with great lawyers, supportive. Asked for my evidence returned and he list my evidence. Claimed it must of gone to archives. I ended up with a criminal record without conviction as the judge was very understanding but I should not have ended up with anything. Imagine if he had been paid 5k? Do not thrust these lawyers. I'd it happened to me, 8t could happen to anyone.
