Dragon Hot Pot Doncaster

Have eaten at this branch on three occasions, I have eaten at two other Dragon Hot Pot branches in the south east for reference.

I had the collagen broth, mala ban and mala xiang guo (spicy stir fry) on three separate occasions. I found the mala xiang to be very flavourful but spicy, I know it’s mala, but I asked for “mild” but it felt hotter than that. The collagen broth was good and the mala ban was just ok.
Overall, it’s a good store and a great addition to the Westfield Doncaster food court.

Ordered takeaway, meal took longer than 25 minutes to come out. Got home, only to realise they have mixed my ingredients up with someone elses. I was not able to eat half the ingredients some other person ordered. Would not come again.

It is pretty new dragon hot pot here in Westfield Doncaster, been to other branch multiple times and I found they have more fresh food options. Also, the dry noodle was extremely spicy compared to other hot pot branch… still go back though

Very weird experience. My partner and I both got almost the same ingredients, yet hers 'weighed' over 200g more (and costed $10 more). Seems like something fishy/scammy is going on with their self serve weighing. The server not understanding english well didn't help the experience when we questioned it so we just ended up leaving.

Ordered one soup and one without soup. Both are medium spicy.
Dry one is definitely better.
Soup one is tasteless even though it’s medium spicy.
And yeah, there is a hair in the rice.
I felt the branch at city is better.

Poor customer service.they argued and blamed their customers for their wrong order but actually the restaurant got their order mixed up. Too much msg made me thirsty all night. David hot pot serves way better quality of food and would give out complimentary bowls of rice to their customers.

Lovely food which came fast, staff were very kind and went out of their way to get me a fork from the back thank you!
