Dragon Hot Pot - Chadstone reviews
14Writing this review as I’m always absolutely heartbroken each time I visit during lunchtime. There is never stir fry during lunchtime it is my favourite, absolutely not slay
Dragon hotpot is an immersive atmosphere with top notch food and its an amazing experience to share with others.
Was not a big fan of the stir fry, however signature malatang hotpot is amazing - my all time favourite.this location is quite pricier though and busy.however recommend trying!
One of the better dragon hotpot spots, great selection of toppings with their signature broths, always a good feed especially for dinner during the cold Melbourne nights
Not a lot of ingredients to choose from. Used to cost $20-30 for 2 person sharing a bowl a few years ago, but now it costs at least $40. There were only 2 or 3 types of dipping sauces available which tasted weird. Toppings (fried chickpea) is included at no extra cost but not unlimited. The latest visit, we had the laksa soup, not the best, better to stick with the original soup. Food took awhile to come out, and they do not cut up your ingredients for you. You have to stuff the cabbage the size of your face into your small mouth, while other ingredients are either overcooked or undercooked. DHP used to be my to-go for a hotpot fix, but due to price and service, will no longer be patronising since there are so many other hotpot places open now.
Food is a bit pricy but overall taste is good. I have tried the Collagen Bone Broth Soup (Non Spicy) and the Signature Mala Tang Hot Pot Soup. So far so good.
Food hygiene needs to be concerned!
Had lunch with my partner on 2/7/2023. I went back home with diarrhea 3 times in the afternoon. My partner had gastro ended up to ED at the hospital. Very ‘expensive’ lunch!
40.5 dollars for one, with 15% surcharge on weekends but without notice. Terrible. Overpriced. Won't come back any more.
Dragon Hotpot is a fantastic hotpot place that offers a wide range of delicious dishes. While Mala Spicy Stir Fry is highly recommended, Dragon Hotpot has its own unique offerings that are worth trying.
One of the highlights of Dragon Hotpot is their diverse selection of ingredients. They offer a variety of fresh vegetables, high-quality meats, and delectable seafood options. The ingredients are carefully sourced and well-prepared, ensuring a satisfying and flavorful hotpot experience.
Dragon Hot Pot seems to be one more expensive by the week. And the weight of my bowl is always approximately the same. Also note, there is a Sunday surcharge and MasterCard surcharge which will bump the price up. For the spice wimps, try the collagen bone broth which is delicious.
This place is a national treasure.never had a bad experience here and food is amaze xxxxoxoxox
Service was really good, food came out very quickly even though they were busy.
Huge selection of food to put include in your hotpot. Got a mild flavour mala tang but it was still quite spicy
So if you like spicy food they challenge yourself with they extra spicy flavour.
Fantastic fresh Asian hot pot. Very popular so try to go not right on usual meal hours. Beware if your sensitive to MSG as it is used.
Over hyped and over priced… was so underwhelmed by not only the variety to choose from but the flavour and quality was so underwhelming… there are far better hot pots at chadston that are cheaper
