I had such a great experience throughout my pregnancy and labour with Tom and his amazing team - I always felt calm and confident knowing I was in such great hands! Would highly recommend!

I have been meaning to post this review for a while. Tom delivered my baby almost 1 year ago and I couldn’t recommend him more. I had a high risk pregnancy due to being epileptic and his communication with all my other doctors was seamless and regularly complimented by my neurologist. He is extremely knowledgeable and practical. I loved that he was straight to the point but also walked you through all your options. My son was delivered via emergency caesarean due to severe fetal distress and at such a scary moment i couldn’t have been in better hands. He made the call, delivered my son so quickly and did his best to calm me at such a scary time. Every nurse commented on how clean and neat my incision was. And one year on the scarring is minimal. I will not hesitate to return to Tom’s care for future pregnancies. He is an amazing person and doctor and i can not thank him enough for his care and the delivery of my son. Bridgett his receptionist is also amazing!

Dr Cade is brilliant. He listens to your concerns and respects the your decision. Highly recommend him.

We delivered our first baby through elective/ emergency caesarean section with Dr Cade.

When we had concerns he booked us in at his earliest convenience.

Despite some complications leading up to the surgery, he managed the situation very professionally. As a result, our baby Sutart was delivered safely. The size of the scar was also minimal on my wife and she is very happy in cosmetic terms.

We will return to deliver our second baby with Dr Cade in the future. Thank you!

Words can't adequately convey how grateful we are to our brilliant obstetrician, Dr Cade, for caring for us so supportively during what was a very anxious pregnancy.

Tom's expertise and calm, reassuring demeanor put us instantly at ease and we felt like we had nothing to worry about while we were in his care.

His Practice Manager, Bridget, and midwives couldn't be lovelier and more accommodating, and it's such a comfort knowing that every support is available to you at the practice, including onsite CTG monitoring.

We felt so well supported through every step of our pregnancy journey and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome or smoother recovery with my elective C-section. Tom is a masterful surgeon and a true perfectionist, the hospital midwives all commented on the neatness of my incision which has healed beautifully and with very minimal discomfort!

There's no one we would trust more to care for us during pregnancy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Tom, for safely delivering our baby girl and bringing us so much joy. We are immeasurably grateful to you.

Highly recommend Dr Tom Cade. This was my first pregnancy. I had a healthy pregnancy thankfully and from the beginning til the delivery of our baby I felt that I was in safe hands. Had a scan at every appointment which was great to put my mind at ease with the development of our baby and I felt comfortable to ask any question. When I was a few days overdue I explored my options with Dr Cade and I decided to get an induction as I didn't want to go over by much. I ended up having an emergency C section as baby was still in posterior position after many hours in labour and this ended up being the best decision. Delivered a healthy strong boy and appreciate that Dr Cade would check in daily to see how I was recovering post C section while I was staying in St Vincent's Private hospital. My recovery is going really well after 3 weeks and I am thankful that Dr Cade did an excellent job with the C section. I would definitely chose Dr Cade for any future pregnancies.

I cannot recommend Tom highly enough!

I had both my babies with Tom in 2017 and 2019, which were both excellent experiences. Tom has a very relaxed but confident nature which is the exact combination I wanted in an obstetrician. He’s very caring, professional, compassionate and non-judgmental, so I felt I could discuss things openly with him. Being an academic, I was also very pleased to find Tom is onto the most cutting edge and progressive techniques as he has a PhD and keeps on top of all the latest research. We’ve always had great chats about research and academia!

Both my pregnancies were trouble free with elective caesar births (my choice). The whole experience was very positive and stress free, even the day of delivery! My recovery both times was great and I only have a very small scar which healed up without issue. I had gestational diabetes with the second pregnancy but Tom ensured it was well managed and there were no implications for myself or the baby.

Tom also delivered my older and younger sisters’ babies who both had an equally positive experience, which is why we’ve all headed back to him for subsequent pregnancies! His office manager Bridget is also lovely and happy to accommodate for appointments.

I’d return to Tom without a second thought and highly recommend him to anyone needing an OBGYN.

A key quality to Dr Cade is he truly has your best interests in mind. He gets to know you in such a way that makes to feel comfortable, confident and safe.

I'm posting this glowing review of Dr Tom Cade on behalf of my wife:

Tom has been my obstetrician for two pregnancies and has been amazing for both. He is knowledgeable, patient, empathetic and really listens (a rare skill!). The delivery of my first child was complicated and many midwives commented after the birth that in the hands of a less skilled OB I would have had an emergency caesar, which thankfully because of Tom I didn't require. I had very severe nausea for my second pregnancy and Tom was incredibly compassionate and willing to try many different treatments until I was feeling better.  

Pregnancy can be a really scary time but with both of mine I knew I was in the best hands possible with Tom and had absolute faith he would deliver my babies safely. I cannot recommend him highly enough

Dr Tom Cade has delivered both my boys. The first time Dr Cade was calm and reassuring in what was a fairly stressful end of labour. He was the OB covering that weekend and we are so grateful he was.

Therefore I had no hesitation to return to his care for my second pregnancy. He was attentive and caring throughout the entire pregnancy answering any question, no matter how trivial they seemed. Dr Cade was exceptional in reassuring me and planning for the birth of my second child to be less stressful than that of the first. He was 100% correct.

I would highly recommend him and his team for any obstetric or gynaecological care. His manner and professionalism makes anyone feel at ease. If I have any need for further services Dr Cade is my go to.

Dr Cade delivered our first child Evie in 2015, so naturally when I fell pregnant in early 2018, we didn’t give it a second thought as to who we would like to deliver our second child.

Tom is genuine, caring, has a lovely nature and has always made me feel at ease throughout both my pregnancies. He has proven to be an exceptional and knowledgeable Doctor, has a wide network of resources and is true to his word, he’ll will follow up on any issues or queries when he says he will.

Tom even popped in to visit me while pregnant to check on the baby after I had minor surgery for an impacted wisdom tooth; just one example of how he goes above and beyond.

Toms office manager Bridget is lovely, will always do her best to schedule appointments around your availability. I’ll miss our chats at reception.

I’ve recommended Tom to friends that are trying to conceive and will continue to do so. We’ll forever be grateful for our two beautiful girls that were safely delivered by Tom. Thank you Tom.

I would very highly recommend Dr Cade as an obstetrician. This was my first child and Tom was very patient with any questions my husband and I had along the way. Our labour was a very smooth process and Dr Cade went out of his way to make me feel supported and safe.

The office and obstetrics equipment are brand new and it was amazing to get a detailed scan at every appointmen, something that most of my friends were not offered through other doctors. Office manager Bridget is also very warm and easily accommodates appointment bookings and queries.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Dr Tom Cade as my OB and could not recommend him more highly! I was a high risk, but Tom made me feel at ease through all stages of my pregnancy - no question was too small or silly, and he managed to strike the right balance between being compassionate yet remaining pragmatic & practical (which is what you need when your hormones are all over the place!)

In the end I was lucky to have a trouble free labour & had a speedy recovery with minimal scarring which I wholeheartedly put down to Tom's expertise (I've heard way too many horror stories from friends to know the difference) and even post-partum have felt so supported. If we ever decide to have another baby, I'll most certainly be using Dr Cade again.

Dr Cade and his professional team, were exceptional and we can’t praise them enough. From the very first consultation I knew that Dr Cade was invested in our journey, not just from a health aspect, but also with an overall care for our wellbeing.

Being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes two years ago, it was important that we had an experienced/knowledgeable doctor who specialised in Diabetes and pregnancy as we were considered a high-risk pregnancy.
Dr Cade displayed genuine care and passion for helping women with diabetes and pregnancy and I know that we were receiving cutting edge care.

We were further impressed by his incredible professional responsiveness in not only his communication but also his network and resources. He understood that every factor, however minor, is a still a factor and he dealt with each one appropriately and efficiently.

Dr Cade patiently answered our numerous questions and thoroughly addressed all of our concerns. He never once made us feel rushed. His attention and dedication was the same high level throughout, especially the hospital room visits post delivery of our beautiful healthy baby girl. Our expectations were continually exceeded.

Office Manager Bridget creates a warm and welcoming environment; it was a pleasure seeing her at every visit.

We couldn’t recommend Dr Cade and his team more highly to our friends and family. We are looking forward to our subsequent pregnancies and continuing our friendship.

Dr Tom Cade is absolutely fantastic! I cannot recommend him and his team more highly. Extremely personable and kind, while being extremely accomplished and competent.
