We came here because my wife had a severe ongoing skin reaction, which was diagnosed by gp as perioral dermatitis.
10 minutes and 300$ later, the specialist gave us exact same answer, not informing us of any guidelines with regard to what to avoid etc. WE ASKED her to replace doxycycline due to my photosensitivity, eventhough she should have known better hereself reading through the emergency doctor’s reports.
As I said we DIDNT receive any guidelines as to what circumstances or food should be avoided, and we are learning this the hard way.
As a result, my wife’s flares came back after only testing a few fragrances at the pharmacy. We should have been told about this.
It was all about the money and booking us for the next ‘review’ appointment.

Dr Rose Mak took the time to inspect my skin thoroughly and go through all explanations and usage of treatments in a detailed and understandable manner. She has greatly helped in managing my own skin condition! Maria at front desk is also very welcoming and friendly

Not very helpful experience on my case, i was charged 300$, took leave from work, allocated all my afternoon driving to city, but didn’t receive much specialised information on any of both cases I raised with Dr. Rose today.
Dr Rose and her secretary were both very polite and welcoming but couldn’t receive much help on my hair loss and skin marks cases unfortunately.

After many many years of discomfort due to issues with topical psoriasis I was referred to De Mak. After one consult Dr Mak has a plan outlined for me. We actioned that plan over the course of a few months and now I am in the best place I could possibly be. I highly recommend Dr Mak as a source of genuine knowledge and experience.

Dr Rose and her receptionist Maria are very friendly and welcoming. I had a persistent viral wart on the ball of my left foot which Dr Rose treated with a combination of laser and an acid mix which I applied at home between monthly laser treatments. It took many visits to finally flatten the wart. Dr Rose was vary caring and adjusted the strength of the laser and acid mix to meet my pain tolerance. I am very pleased with the outcome and the experience in the rooms. Often there was quite a wait so make sure you allow plenty of time for your visit. I would highly recommend Dr Rose.

I cannot recommend Dr Rose Mak or her clinic enough! Her office was a friendly, comforting space (so I’m not sure what previous negative reviews are talking about, the receptionist was one of the loveliest, smiliest and chattiest people I’ve ever encountered). My experience with acne treatment was smooth, rapid, and successful.

In 9 short months, my acne has completely cleared and my skin looks the best it has since I was a kid. Dr Rose made sure to explain the process and possible side effects super clearly so that nothing came unexpected. Her treatment process is gradual but very thorough, and she kept close track of my blood work to ensure Accutane was working well for me. Everything was super easy, and I love the results. I cannot express my ineffable ecstasy further to be able to clean my skin in just a month from starting to use the cure. I wouldn't have been able to regain my confidence to meet new people and to embark on success to both my career and personal life!

I would also like to give credits to the reception staff who have been proactive and helpful to work on scheduling, facilitating the logistics of my case and answering my inquiries in a friendly and timely manner. Don't be tricked by the good reviews here. All fake and misleading. Rose only wants her money and doesn't let the patient speak, as she wants you to finish her 10 minute appt and get her money. My son now has to go to hospital for his treatment because of her miscommunication and not caring about her patients. Not recommended at all.

So disappointed. The service was bad. I explained to her all my skin concerns and she just focused on my mild acne not answering my other questions properly, I felt like she wasn't paying attention to me.

I asked her which skincare routine would be good for me and she said that wasn't able to advise because every person is different.if a dermatologist can't help me with that who should I ask for?

Overall a really bad experience.
