Take your valuable tax payer funds to a reputable clinic.

Be very careful about booking here as a new client. They might just cancel your appointment, or not even book it in the first place. Even if you call to follow up and confirm, and ask for the questionnaires to be sent (multiple times) they will look you up, and pretend all is fine. Finally, on the day of the appointment, suddenly you may not even be in the system and must be mistaken and have booked somewhere else. Which is so weird because it wasn’t “somewhere else” 2 days ago, or the other 4 times you spoke on the phone, on that very same number.

I would highly recommend looking elsewhere, somewhere with more competent staff.

Worth the wait if you can get onto the waitlist. I am used to being dismissed by doctors in the past so I went to my first Appt very scared. Dr Dasanayake was and is fantastic! Calm and very understanding, I felt safe and happy to get my diagnosis. She provides ongoing care unlike some overpriced Telehealth only psychiatrist. I see some negative complaints about the receptionist but all my correspondences were answered promptly and professionally. I think it’s best to email due to the high numbers of inquiries.

Fantastic psychiatrist and fantastic medical secretary Shantha. She went above and beyond to get a a follow up appointment to see Dr Pradeepa for a script top up at the last minute. Even emailing back late at night. Dr Pradeepa is caring, kind, great listener and has very current knowledge. Thank you Dr Pradeepa and thank you Shantha! I think some of the negative reviews are due to not won’t able to book in, yes super frustrating but not the practices fault that they can’t fit in everyone.

Rang to ask some questions about treatment and the receptionist was so rude. Didn’t want to talk to me because their books were closed and she kept trying to get off the phone. Appalling behaviour - I was ringing to do ask simple questions like availability and cost and am not in a bad mental state but imagine the impact of such lack of interest and time on someone ringing who was not in a good mental state. You are a psychiatrists receptionist for gods sake! Think about the type of people who might be calling and have some compassion and take the time to talk to them. You don’t know the impact your uncaring and hurried manner could have on someone who is in a fragile state.

Amazing psychiatrist! Somewhat worth the battle of dealing with the receptionists. Dr, please hire someone with empathy and competence.

Receptionist was incredibly rude.

Firstly they ignored my several emails trying to book an appointment for over 6 months.

Then they were very rude and aggressive with me for over 5 minutes on the phone due to me not being able to make an appointment, and would not allow me to reschedule my appointment even though I asked 3 times.

When I let them know very politely I felt as though their behaviour was inappropriate they hung up on me, and then sent me an email saying they'd deleted me from the system (which I did not ask for).

When I replied and asked to speak with Dr Pradeepa about what had happened, they emailed me saying "You have been removed from our service due to your poor communication with us. "

Left me super distressed and now I feel as though I am completely without support to get a diagnosis.

Receptionist never answers the phone. I sent them a referral roughly three weeks, not only have I not heard anything from them but Ihave called multiple times and they have never answered.

Receptionist was extremely rude and incompetent. They provided misinformation about getting access to my records and cut me off and put me on hold multiple times.

I gave a 1 star review, but they have called back and was very informative/ understanding. I was hasty to give such a score and so i have edited my review.
