DR Nicole Ong

Recently seen Dr Nicole Ong for a follow up appointment after 10 years. She was very informative and a very thorough with my surgery which allowed me to conceive two more beautiful children naturally. Thank you for making all my dreams come true.

2 weeks post-op Laparoscopy and Curette with Dr. Nicole Ong!
What a journey it has been. I was referred to my GP to see Dr. Nicole last year. After being in the waiting list, I was able to see her in March and she made sure straight away I have all the test I needed before deciding to go through with the surgery. From all the vitamins I should be taking, to my egg counts, she explains my condition with details and discussed my options and suggested to have the lap procedure so we can see what’s giving me the excruciating back pain that lasted for months and my fertility issues.
Then it turned out that I would need to wait 12 months for preexisting conditions procedures since I just got a new insurance plan (recently moved from a different country).
Dr. Ong was understanding and waited around 8 months to finally did the surgery for me.
The team at Holmesglen was amazing as well. I’ve been to this hospital a few times for my mother in-law’s procedures so I’m familiar with it. They’re very professional, reliable and really organised. My anaesthetist and nurses was amazing and kind towards my nervous first-time ever getting a surgery self.
I felt 2/10 pain waking up from the surgery (from constipation), and only needed to take 2 days worth of pain killer after. She removed all 6 nodules and lots of endometriosis tissues I had.
Can’t wait to see her at the 6weeks post-op and take it from there. I love that she is very straightforward genuine person that really understands my concerns and throughly consider all options for my case.

Fabulous female surgeon if you have pain or bleeding issues. I have had terrible painful heavy periods all my life. Dr Ong listened, explained everything then did keyhole surgery to cut out endometriosis snd 2 huge cysts. The entire team at holmesglen from start to finish were so caring! Dr Ong is a meticulous surgeon, I can’t even see the scars. I am pain free with minimal bleeding for the first time in ages!

She is really lovely and makes you feel very at ease however I went to a different Dr due to ongoing pain after the surgery and hormone injections. My new Dr asked about hormone injections and mentioned patches with it. I was never given patches to help me through the hormone injections and I went through a very dark place mentally. Was very shocking to hear that Dr Nicole Ong missed something super important. DR Nicole also never found any endo on the bowel however my new Dr did and that was contributing to my ongoing pain

Dr Nicole Ong is truly amazing! I have been seeing Dr. Ong for the past 7 years since I was 21 years old, she immediately made me feel comfortable and heard with my concerns. Her kindness, professionalism and attention to detail is unmatched, the way she goes above and beyond; like posting out multiple pages of results with detailed notes and advice, to explaining every detail in plain terms, ensuring I feel comfortable every step of the way. Every interaction I’ve had with Dr Ong has been nothing but exceptional right from the first consultation through to my multiple surgeries with her. I cannot thank and recommend her enough!

Very disappointed in dr Nicole, our believe she one of the best gynecologist in Australia, clearly did not see that in this dr. How have time change where one use to get good dr that would put people first before money value there patients more and their well-being.

Regards to dr Nicole you must pay her again to make a appointment to discuss test results that she already got payed for on the initial visit, because apparently she is to busy, but if you pay her again then she can make time, how ridiculous this sounds.

Dr Ong is one of the best Drs i have seen, she is thorough and always on time she also has this calming presence about her, I was quite uneasy and nervous about seeing her for an invasive procedure but she put my mind at ease and explained everything in terms i was able to understand, she has helped me in so many ways during my health journey and cant thank her enough.

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Dr Nicole Ong to treat recurring endometriosis and a more recent bout of adenomyosis.
Rarely do you find a medical professional so knowledgeable, passionate and personable. Dr Ong treated me with respect, dignity and reassuring brevity throughout my entire dealings with her. She ordered a truly staggering array of very relevant tests to aid diagnosis, all of which were explained to me succinctly and in lay terms. She is genuinely curious about the body, and takes an holistic approach to care.
Surgery was required, after all options were discussed and explored. My operation, performed by Dr Ong was the 4th time I have been under the knife for endometriosis, but the first time with her at the helm. After having surgery performed by Dr Ong and her equally excellent team, I have had the shortest, most comfortable recovery I've experienced after such a procedure. Dr Ong post-operatively followed up personally with phone calls, and kept me well-informed about my prospects.
