Dr Michael Daly

This was the most negative experience at a medical clinic in my life. My husband, a general practitioner in Queensland, while visiting Melbourne, suffered a major bleed and clot in the brain and had emergency surgery at The Alfred. We had been advised to have our general practitioner remove the sutures and staples so we went along to this clinic and saw Dr Michael Daly. Such an unhelpful and negative attitude from this doctor who patently didn't want to help and when I suggested to my husband that we were in the wrong place, he jumped on that as an excuse for us to go away and not bother him. His attitude is disgraceful and he would inspire no confidence in my or my husband, at all, ever.
In response to your pathetic reply, we couldn't see around the corner to where your receptionist was seated and the lady in our line of vision, looked at him and beckoned us in. I did say that we perhaps needed to be somewhere else and you couldn't get rid of us fast enough as you had no idea what you were doing and didn't want to help. You also said you were in the midst of a consultation. Who bounds out of a consultation to speak with waiting patients and if that is what you did, that is on you and a ridiculous thing to do. Hopeless.
AND WITH THE BANDAGE ON HIS HEAD AND THE FRAIL DEMEANOUR OF THE PATIENT. BLIND FREDDY COULD SEE THAT HE NEEDED HELP. Sadly no help was forthcoming from this doctor on this occasion.

Dr. Daly is great. Thorough and helps you out in layman's terms. My ESL mother loved him as he spoke to her slowly and made sure she understood before he moved on.
Giving a 3 star for the sole reason that the Middle-aged nurse was strangely rude to me and my mother. Would be a 5 star if she wasn't talking at my mother in the manner she had. My mother clearly wasn't understanding her.

Dr Daly is a fantastic doctor. He is very thorough in his examinations and considered in the medical advice he provides. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about his patients. Would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Daley cared for my sister when she was dying, he made house calls that he didn't even charge for! Where would you find that type of compassion and kindness these days. I recommed this doctor as the true local GP who truly cares about his patients.

We both go to Dr Daly and have found him to be extremely thorough and nothing is to much trouble to follow up. We like his manner and the way he doesn't rush you

Grateful to have Dr Daly as my doctor. He tolerates my Googling habit and my input. Even with tricky problems we always manage to get to the bottom of things. One such, when I fallen sick after returning from Europe, where I found a tick on my body. I was sent through the right channels to get tested and treated in the right timeframe.

Most recently, he has identified an infection separate from a complaint I was seeing him and which needed treatment. I could not agree more with the previous poster about Dr Daly's thoroughness.

Dr Daly very knowledgeable and thorough. He does not rush his patients through, and will examine you in detail if there is any concern. If you need to see a specialist and there is a long waiting time, he will call personally to try to expedite the appointment. Apart from bulk billing at his practice, if you need additional medical services, Dr Daly will advise you about the service providers that use bulk billing or do not charge exorbitant fees. I find his personal and professional integrity to be exemplary.

Dr Michael Daly is caring, asks alot of questions and has alot of patience. He has remarkable beside manner. So easy to talk to.
