Dr. Diana Tran

Dr Diana really surpassed my expectation, especially given my continued dissatisfaction with previous dermatologists (and other specialists) who typically gave very little time for the exorbitant amount they’d inevitably charge at the end. My experience with Dr Diana was unlike any other previous experience. She was incredibly giving of her time; genuinely dedicated to listening to my “story” (my plaguing skin issues and the context of these) ; thorough in her explanation and break-down of said skin issues upon evident consideration, and practical in her suggestions for addressing them. I was so relieved that my “prep work” was equally met by hers, prior to our actual consultation: she had clearly read and studied my email with attached photos (I sent these upon request prior to the appointment, as well as other notes she required from my previous dermatologists), making each step of the process worthwhile and meaningful for me. In our consultation, she was real and empathetic, authentic and knowledgeable. Additionally, I have to say that the booking process itself was reassuring - unlike other practices where you feel snubbed or reduced to a mere number in a long waiting list, I was made to feel valued from the very first stage of calling up to make an appointment. In particular, I want to mention Perry, who was such a lovely gentleman on the phone and was so polite and helpful in ensuring I follow through the booking process so that I could get the best chance of a sooner appointment with her. Thank you Perry, and thank you Dr Diana - I don’t ever write reviews, firstly because I hate venting about negative experiences, and secondly because it is rare to have a good experience like this one to write about. Every now and then, you come across someone who really wants to help, and do.

Please read the 1 star reviews. I had similar experiences even worst! Do not waist your money! Go and see someone with real intention to help. $380 for 5 min to look at your skin.the rest is all a marketing scenarios and her trying to get under your skin with her sad past stories or asking you a lot personal questions that have nothing to do with the visit at the dermatologist, and offending her staff members because she is such professional Dr.if you are skinny she will probably tell you that she hates that fact that you can eat all you want and never get fat. What a joke!

I had a great experience with Diana! We were kept in the loop about expected wait times which is essential for me. Having two small children and attending specialist appointments is no easy task and that bit of extra care taken by the reception team was valuable and time saving for me. Diana herself was lovely, funny and very thorough. I left feeling very well taken care of and informed about the condition of my skin. I feel confident in protecting myself and my family because of the knowledge I’ve gained from Diana about melanoma. Thanks Diana and team:)

Is the wait really worth it? Had my appointment rescheduled an hour later due to running behind schedule. That’s fine. When arrived to my appointment, I had to wait an extra 1.5 hours to be seen. Receptionist said half an hour. It never really is. A bit difficult when you schedule your appointments in between work, or any time of your day really, it messes your whole day completely. Instead of having a midday appointment and being able to have the rest of the day to really make use of your day, instead you spend most of your time waiting for your already late appointment in a waiting room. Then your check up runs for maybe no more than 15 minutes? There is obviously no value in people’s time here.

I went to couple of doctors for my psoriasis skin problem. They didn't even took 5 mins to check my skin and didn't ask me any questions about my medical history. And it costed me 250$ for one appointment. But when I came to Dr. Tran she spent one hour for my initial discussion with her. Asked in detail about the condition and treated me accordingly. Very good staff and Dr. Tran is very friendly.

After being asked to write 2 separate emails, getting a GP referral, taking & sending photos of my skin condition, filling out an application form and advising my availability I was told at the very end that Dr Tran doesn’t cannot see me. This is despite the fact I conveyed my skin condition and what I needed in the very first phone call and email. Her decline to provide service email was in contradiction to her very first service catalogue email. Dr Tran’s team need to be more respectful of her patients’ time and not straddle them along if she has no capacity to take on new patients!

Soooooo expensive. Not worth going there. Dr tran is not helpful at all. Only there to take your Money.

I have to disagree with the person that has given Dr Tran a negative review. She is the most down to earth doctor I have ever met. I feel like she is a friend rather than someone who is there to treat me and get her money. She is quirky and I like that about her but I can tell she is a very knowledgable doctor with extensive experience. Yes, she asks about your life but that’s because she cares and wants to relate. I would rather someone asks me questions and gets to know me than to act snooty and above me. She explains everything to you in regards to your condition, medicine, side effects. She makes sure that she gets you to do all the relevant tests to rule out any other possible causes of your issue. Furthermore, she is honest! She doesn’t sugar coat anything for you, she isn’t there to take in your money she is there to make a difference and help and that is quite evident with Dr Tran. I have overheard her go above and beyond for other patients. She doesn’t just finish your consultation and forget you, if you need another diagnosis with a different specialist she tries to get that arranged and get the relevant information. Glad that my GP referred me to her.

I recommend Dr. Diana Tran for all skin and dermatological problems. I’m very impressed by seeing her dedication towards her patients. She is very knowledgeable, attentive and recommends appropriate treatment. She educates (not everyone does) you on the pros and cons of each procedure, helping you find the best one for you. Staff is very courteous and professional. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, brilliant staff and very informative both about any conditions and any treatments or products for them. I would highly recommend Dr Tran to anyone as she goes above and beyond as well as tells great jokes.

Dr. Diana Tran is great, Seen her today and she was straight forward in telling me what i should do and how to do it, She was down to earth and a cool lady to joke around with aswell. Thankyou Dr. Tran

Missing hair and half my face inflamed for 9 months seen 4 doctors and 1 dentist during that time and nothing helped.
Dr Tran was great seen once and in 2 weeks my face went back to normal and my hair grew back!

I've been a patient with Dr Diana Tran for the past year and a half, and I must say her services and treatments have been nothing short of first class. I had been suffering severe acne throughout my teenage and young adult life, and it was only until seeing Dr Tran when my face cleared up, after I had tried absolutely everything. I can't understand the negative reviews towards Dr Tran's integrity and method of practice - these comments seem utterly unfair and untrue given each experience I have had with her has been nothing but excellent and professional.

I have been several times and have always found Dr Tran and her staff to be very professional. Dr Tran is excellent and has done a wonderful job on any issue. She is also friendly, informative and courteous.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Seeing Dr Tran has helped me resolve my adult acne problem I’ve been struggling with for many years. She was able to diagnose the cause and proscribed effective medicine to counter the acne. The flare ups have reduced greatly after just one consultation session. Book early as the wait time can be long.

Natalie, I can't agree at all. Dr Tran helped resolve a long term skin condition with one consult, and any discussion of personal issues was clearly focused on determining the underlying problem. I note that despite your very low rating and negative review, you say your skin has improved - that is generally what you want when seeing a dermatologist!

I visited Dr Diana with very high expectations and left the consultation with a huge smile on my face. Very quirky, relatable and professional. Get an appointment quickly or else you’ll end up waiting for ages.
