Dr David Orchard

My daughter at age 10 had been to many specialist about her alopecia and during this time she continued to lose almost all her hair. We were eventually referred by another specialist to Dr Orchid and just like that my daughters path was to change. She was put on medication that worked for her. She has all her hair back. It has taken some time for her to be herself again but I can happily say she is almost there. She continues on low dosage and only needs to see Dr Orchid every 6 months. From all the specialists we have been to none were like Dr Orchid. He is kind, patient, honest and genuinely cares. Even during the unsettling times of covid he stayed open.

My daughter has had what we thought was eczema for years, and we had tried countless remedies from several GPs. A suggestion by a family friend led us to Dr Orchard, and during our first consult we had a diagnosis and a treatment plan. We have been seeing Dr Orchard for years and his ongoing care has been invaluable to our family. His depth of knowledge including all the most up to date treatments and therapies has meant that my daughter's suffering has been alleviated. His professionalism and care is second to none. It is definitely worth waiting for and paying for his level of expertise and experience. Without his help, I don't know where we would be. The reception staff are always helpful and kind, and the facilities are comfortable. We never wait more than 10 minutes for our appointments. There is plenty of on site parking, which is great given the busy location. If your children have any skin problems at all, I highly recommend making an appointment.

Dr Orchard has been treating my son for a number of years now and I can honestly say that he's a dedicated professional and an extremely knowledgeable physician who truly cares about his patients. Dr Orchard goes out of his way to address your concerns and answer all your questions. Highly recommend. 10/10

Absolute waste of money. DO NOT GO HERE. My first visit to this clinic and it was an absolute disaster. I arrived for my appointment 10minutes early to fill out the necessary forms and was directed by the receptionist to take a seat in the waiting area. From here, I spent the next 40minutes waiting for my appointment, and finally as I was running late for work I went back up to the receptionist to find out how long it will be. It was at this point I get told to sit down again and see the receptionist quickly run to the doctor's office and a few minutes later the doctor comes out of the office slightly frazzled. From talking to the doctor I gather that she wasn't even aware that I was waiting, and she rushes through the appointment, causing more injury than help. Further to this, I reiterate my condition and what medication I have taken in the past, and the doctor prescribes the same medication for me that DID NOT WORK before, as I tell her this again, she still insists that this is the medication to take and sends me on my way telling me to come back in 4 weeks. And just like that, with a 5 minute consult that gave me no solution, I was out $200, and late for work due to a receptionist's incompetence. Completely unprofessional and an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. I am sure that other's have had a better experience as I have in the past heard amazing things about Dr. Orchard, but this was frankly the biggest waste of time and money and has left me regretting ever attending the clinic.

I found Dr Orchard to be professional, friendly, pragmatic and knowledgeable. And his directions alleviated my problems. Would recommend.
