Dr. Boon Tan

I've been seeing Dr Boon Tan for a couple of years. I trust him, respect him and recommend him, due to his vast knowledge and care.

In 2018 there is just no more room for ‘Dr’s’ to keep patients, with appointments, waiting for 2.5 hours.
This is not the 60’s and etiquette goes a long way. At the very least, there could have been some sort of effort from the reception to explain why or for how long patients need to wait.
The worst part of having to drive through for 1.5hrs was sitting in the surgery and having the doctor not shed any light on the issue, nor bothering to actually have read the case notes.
After all that, with no diagnosis, waiting 2.5 hrs, to still be presented with an exorbitant bill, is outrageous, especially since the Dr want us to come back for another appointment after he did some research!

After repeted procedures without changes, for long time, I took my kid to Sinclair Dermatology. The specialist give us different interpretation about my son's condition and started a new treatment for him, based on injections and pills. Dr Boon is kind, but I feel he need to try different ways, when no sucess.

Worst experience EVER. Kept my 82 year old father waiting for 8.5 hours while Dad watched other patients come and go all day. No respect for anyone’s time or age.

Very professional in his approach dealing with clients, plus he has a good sense of humour. Recommended by friends who have been clients for may years. Now I know why. Comfortable, spacious waiting room. Friendly receptionist.

Dr Tan is an experienced professional who provides service in a caring and respectful way. He has literally saved the lives of more than one member of my family by identifying and treating Skin Cancers previously missed by a GP. His professional staff also provide excellent service and customer support. Dr Tan has a passion for providing patient wellbeing, not just medical attention.
