Dr. Arunaz Kumar

DR. Arunaz Kumar is the best obstetrician. She made my wife's pregnancy journey very smooth. She is very nice and understanding. I highly recommend Dr.kumar.

I would highly recommend Dr.kumar.she is the best. She guided me very well throughout my pregnancy. I was very happy with my delivery and appointments. She is very supportive and kind. She took well care of me. Being first time parents, we were unsure about the whole process from start to end, but Dr. ARUNAZ answered all our questions with full guidance. She made my pregnancy journey very smooth and beautiful.
I have more to say but I cant express everthing in words. Even 5 star rating is less for her.
If I will plan my second baby, I would definitely approach Dr. Kumar again.

Dr Arunaz Kumar is a lovely human being and a very good doctor. I have felt very comfortable seeing her during my pregnancy and look forward to every appointment. This is my first pregnancy and she has always answered all of mine and my husbands questions and never made us feel uncomfortable. I feel I am in very good hands.

We have had the best experiences with both of our pregnancies with Dr Arunaz Kumar. She has help deliver my first child and we were so impressed that we wanted to come back to see her for our second pregnancy. We know that we are in good care in her presence. She has been very intuitive, caring, knowledgeable, thorough and supportive with our choice of labour delivery. And most importantly very professional. We definitely felt taken care of during our journey through pregnancy and even after the delivery. Thank you so much for your services and professionalism.

I had my first baby delivered recently by Dr. Kumar.
She carried out all the tasks professionally and treated me with kindness throughout my pregnancy journey.
Had a really great and smooth pregnancy experience with her. I was planning to have a normal delivery as no complications in pregnancy but unfortunately had to go through c section for not being dilated fully after being induced for 10 or more hours. I trusted her for this and had my baby in my arms, afterwards.
With her vast experience, she answered my each and every query in detail everytime, being a ftm I had zero knowledge about few stuff.

Dr. Kumar is kind and helpful. She guided me very well through my pregnancy. I am happy with my newborn baby now. Luckily, I trust her to have c-section. Would highly recommend her and I’ll choose her again for my next pregnancy.

Let me start in this way, anything less than 5 star wont be fair for Dr Kumar. My wife and me we had our daughter over here recently. During my wife's whole pregnancy Dr Kumar was literally 1 call away. She has thoroughly taken care of each and every small detail related to my wife's and our baby's health. Being on Temporary visa me and wife we always use to discuss & worry about the Expenses but on having a word with Dr. Kumar we turned out to be so relaxed and I can say that she was reasonable and there was no hidden costs.
Moreover through out our pregnancy she has listened and appreciated our point of view and guided us.

So as a closing statement I would highly highly recommend Dr. Kumar.

Dr Kumar is a kind, supportive and dedicated doctor who really cares about her patients’ needs. We were fortunate enough to have Dr Kumar guide us through the pregnancies and birth of both of our children. Being first time parents, we were unsure about the whole process from the start to the end, but Dr Kumar answered all of our questions with detail and ensured the labour process was as smooth as possible. Dr Kumar even made sure all of my postpartum needs were well taken care of. If we have any more children, we would not hesitate to go through the whole process again with Dr Kumar.

Thank you Dr Arunaz Kumar for looking after me during my pregnancy and suggesting the correct options about the baby’s delivery at the right time. Mine was a complicated delivery, where we anticipated for vaginal birth however once labour started it was realised that due to baby’s head size, delivery by C section was the safest option.
During regular clinic visits, like at most doctor’s, the appointments were not on exact time, however Dr Kumar is worth waiting for.
Dr Kumar is very friendly and takes time to explain. Highly recommended. If we decide to have another baby, Dr Kumar will be my obstetrician for sure.

Very bad/poor handling. Very poor service. Been given contradictive advice on numerous occasions. She is known in the local medical industry for her lack of professionalism and money greedy mentalitity. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We are very grateful to Dr. Arunaz Kumar as we had a fantastic experience with our first pregnancy.

We always felt she was compassionate to hear us and guide us in this journey while keeping us aware at all time and clearly communicating the choices available to us.

Her team has guided us through each step and also helped us with bookings in hospitals and guiding us in the journey as it was all new to us and our pregnancy was not a simple one.

We always felt comfortable sharing and asking anything and she always heard us and answered us even though sometime it was dumb questions.

Visiting Dr Kumar at Blackburn is a distressing experience.
I had to wait over an hour for my appointment during COVID. The COVID safe measures were not followed in the waiting room.

Dr Kumar did not greet me. She didn't explain the procedure to me. She didn't speak a word to me hence making me feel very tense throughout the whole process which in fact, did not allow the procedure to go ahead to begin with.

She only started speaking to me in order for me to relax so she could do her job but abruptly cut me off when she had done what she had to do.

She giggled at me inappropriately, there was absolutely no respect. Dr Kumar finished what she had to do, gave me some toilet paper and left the room. I had to make my own way back to reception, confused.

The receptionist was on the phone to her daughter obnoxiously speaking about unprofessional matters. I should have realised this was a horrible place to visit when the receptionist was rude right from the beginning when I had to make an appointment - she was unpleasant and hung up on me.

I would rate 0 if I could. Went to Dr Kumar as people said she was good. Going in being younger than 18 I didn't know what to expect, but I knew I'd never go back. She spent more than half of my consult on the phone with another patient and didn't even have the decency to apologise when she finished. She refused to listen to ANY of my symptoms or view any of my past tests that I had done and also proceeded to tell me that I didn't have the illness that EVERY other Dr and ultrasound had shown. Completely inappropriate and wouldn't trust her with any part of my body. When I called the reception to put in a complaint and more so a 'for the future' tip, I was yelled at, reception staff = just as bad as Dr Kumar. Save your money and time and go to someone TRUSTWORTHY.

We have had the most wonderful experience with Dr Arunaz Kumar and cannot recommend her highly enough. From the beginning of my pregnancy Arunaz has always put me and my husband completely at ease and made us feel that we were receiving the best quality personalised care imaginable. She takes the time to get to know her patients and is very focused on understanding what is important to us so that she can be responsive to that and tailor her care to support our choices as much as possible. She always made herself available and was extremely responsive anytime I had a concern. I always looked forward to our appointments and when we ultimately ended up in the delivery room, it almost felt like we were there with an old friend who made it a very comfortable environment to bring our baby into the world. I never expected to have such a positive birth story. It was an entirely complication-free delivery and the best possible outcome I could ever have hoped for. Our precious one was born gently and naturally, which I attribute largely to Arunaz’s guidance and expertise. We couldn’t be more impressed with her service and would recommend her without reserve to anyone having a baby.

Dr. Arunaz Kumar was a godsend to us. We cannot thank her enough for making sure that our beautiful little miracle baby came into the world safely. We had so many complications and Dr Arunaz was so diligent, caring and very compassionate in the way she approached our pregnancy and delivery of our baby.
I have also seen Dr Arunaz for a laparoscopic surgery a few years ago and again she was just great.
I am forever grateful that my GP referred me to Dr Arunaz and thanks to her we get to hold our beautiful girl everyday.

She is an excellent doctor. Words are not enough to describe how kind she is. She helped me during my pregnancy in every possible way. I must say that doc is a beautiful soul and cares a lot about their patients. I am really greatfull for her support and highly recommend her.
