Dr Adam Sheridan I Mohs Surgery I Medical Lasers

I am so disappointed and frustrated with the experiences I have had with this clinic. Dr Adam Sheridan is always running 30-40 minutes late. I understand emergencies take precedent but it happens on every occasion. When I see Dr Sheridan every appointment lasts for less than five minutes and he is up & standing whilst I am asking questions trying to usher me out. Today I get a call to say Dr Sheridan is not working at the clinic until further notice. My appointment has now been delayed by several weeks and I will see a new dermatologist entirely. I called the Malvern clinic Dr Sheridan will be working at and they clearly told me Dr Sheridan will be back at Moonee Ponds in October….

I went to the clinic 3 times to see Dr Sheridan, but it always felt as though I wasn't cared for or listened to.
On my first visit, it felt as though I was rushed through and the Dr didn't let me finish the full history of my previous treatment with my GP. The Dr quickly diagnosed that my skin condition was rosacea and prescribed the exact same antibiotics that I was already on for 4 weeks (by GP) for another 6 weeks. However when I tried to tell him that my GP had prescribed the same treatment, which hadn't worked, and had therefore ruled out Rosacea, he wouldn't listen.
When I returned a month later he recommended laser treatment for rosacea. However, my skin wasn't stable enough to go through the treatment when I was trying to make the appointment (after the Summer as he recommended). I had to come in the 3rd time to see Dr Sheridan.
On my third visit after waiting more than half an hour past the scheduled time for my appointment the Dr ruled out rosacea. Dr Sheridan saw me for just 4 mins and said he will refer me to patch testing. There was no confirmation of my details, nor any discussion of what I'm experiencing on my skin. While I wanted to get more advice from him, he stood up and started walking me out. After 3 weeks not receiving any contact from the patch testing clinic, I called the clinic myself and was advised that they didn't receive any referral for me. When I called Dr Sheridan's clinic, I was advised that they had no record of me coming to the clinic for this appointment! When the receptionist tried to confirm the details, it was someone else's name and DOB.
After following up myself, I got the referral letter later on. I thought it was worthwhile to share my experience. I do still wonder whether the patch testing (out of pocket nearly $500) was actually even meant for me.

Amazing person with just as amazing Staff. I am based in Geelong but so glad l came to Adam in Malvern. Kept me informed on everything through out the process and the accuracy was not only important but spot on. The after care is exceptional and l honestly felt l was their only patient which l think says it all. The Staff at the reception and support Nurses are so caring and understanding. I cannot speak more highly of the service and quality of work that is done by Adam and Staff.

My Sydney Dermatologist recommended Dr Sheridan as the best Mohs Surgeon. Excellent in all respects. Thank you to you and your staff. Really appreciate it.

Have been seeing Adam Sheridan now for several years, the surgeries he has performed on me are only slightly visible. Fantastic results!
Would highly recommend him as a surgeon.

I called them to make an appointment on the 6 of March and they told me our availablety is 9 of May. All I needed is someone to give me a plasma needle.

Excellent service, bedside manner and professionalism. I am very pleased with all aspects of treatment I am receiving, (apart from the sting of the Light Ray)
