31Best chai around! Staff are so welcoming and the court yard is ideal for breakfast with my toddler
Lovely food, nice coffee and friendly staff. The outdoor area has clearly been recently done and the atmosphere is nice.
However, it was very surprising to be served my coffee and food in takeaway paper cup and plate when I was dining in - even my salad was in a plastic tub. While it was good that only 1 item was plastic and the rest was paper products, why not use actual, reusable china? This is not only better for the environment, but also for the business as it is undoubtedly cheaper to wash china rather than constantly purchasing disposable items.
Also, PLEASE ADD PRICES TO YOUR LABELS. It is extremely annoying when food in display cabinets do not have prices on the labels. It forces customers to ask staff for prices, which not only wastes time of the staff, but also adds a potential level of embarrassment for your customers if they item they'd selected is more than they want to pay. This isn't the only cafe to have no prices but it really is a trend that has to stop.
Finally, while the outdoor area is nice, it isn't really designed for anything other than a warm day. More than half of the tables have no shade or covers, and there's a gap right over the entrance to the seating area meaning that you are bound to get wet when entering/leaving if it's raining.
Waited 21 minutes for 1 takeaway coffee this morning. I watched 3 people who were in line after me receive their coffee orders first, though. I understand I have special milk, and I appreciate that you are busy. However, for the sake of fairness, please keep the orders of making coffees the same as the order people queued in. Over 20 minutes is a very long time to wait for 1 coffee.
One of the best cafes in Frankston! Consistently good coffee, a great variety of food and amazing staff! Highly recommend to anyone living or visiting the Frankston area.
Have been going to DTS since it opened. The coffee is fantastic, honestly haven’t had any better outside of specialty places closer to the city, but it’s also very consistent. We love the food too, particularly the frittatas and tarts, and the brownies. We do miss the indoor seating, but with the sheer volume of takeaway business, it’s understandable. There is still lovely seating outside in the back/courtyard. It can get very busy at times, particularly after school drop-off as the high school and a primary school are very nearby. It can seem a very long wait if you’re not accustomed to that time of day. However it’s never been excessive and there are stools at a bar at the window if you need to sit to wait. They also sell a few basics such as milk and eggs, which is quite handy. The only thing my lazy heart desires is to make delivery available! But that’s unlikely as DTS is already so popular.
What a lovely little cafe in a great spot.
Bacon and egg roll was delicious- caramel brownie to die for.
I particularly liked that it was confirmed if we wanted loose leaf or powder when ordering our chai late, some cafes don’t do this and it can be quite a shock if you’re only used to one or the other.
Great fast service also, cheerful atmosphere.
A great spot for delicious coffee along with tasty rolls and sandwiches. Tucked just off the highway on Foot St in Frankston.
The most delicious almond latte I’ve had in ages served with big smiles. Not to mention the amazing exceptional chicken baguettes
Ordered a coffee and it took 30mins. Very disappointing. If you have so many orders happening, think of letting people know that there is a wait time. Won’t be coming back in a hurry!
The best coffee here as I tried so many coffee around this area
Especially when the lady owner here. She will created the great magic for you
Sadly they not open for sitting anymore but you cab order for takeaway and enjoy at the back area nice and clean. They open the backyard now, so we can sit and enjoy the sunlight with the coffee.
But still takeaway cups. However, it's totally fine
Whatever their busy but you coffee always on time
Oh my gosh! The most delicious Chai I have ever tasted! The Gluten Free crepes are so flavoursome. The staff are friendly and the courtyard dining is lovely. Definitely going to be my new go to cafe!
Amaaaazing coffee. Lovely staff. Great coffee beans to buy too.
I get excited if I want a coffee when I'm out and about,
. And it's before 2 pm!
Because you know what that means? !
I can get a coffee from Down the Street.
Woo hoo!
Makes my day.
Very smooth roast. Merryn and the DTS team turn out great coffee day after day. Thank you
Best coffee.best service.the toasties are good, pies are delicious and ive found my new addiction in their caramel slice.buttery smooth caramel not overly sweet and a biscuit base so crumbly like ive never had before.a must see, do and try but be prepared to wait as the queue is always long but well worth the wait
We had catering for 60 people from down the street, the food was fresh and delicious! The presentation was beautiful and Izzy was amazing with everything! Thanks again
Best coffee in Frankston! Consistently a good brew that never disappoints. Also an awesome selection of treats. Can't recommend it enough!
There's only a handful of places around Frankston that do genuinely good coffee and this is one of them. Lovely staff and good food options as well.
Ordered some cupcakes this morning over the phone. Staff were very helpful. Picked up order an hour later very promptly. The cupcakes were beautifully presented and delicious.
I have been here once and was expecting great coffee from the queue coming out the door. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype as the coffee had a strange taste
Bit weird, we wanted to sit inside and eat and have coffee but they only serve stuff in takeaway containers. No table seating either just the benches.
