I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. The coffee was to a very high standard and the service was excellent too. I felt very welcome here during this festive season which seems increasingly rare at cafes as many are eager to compel customers into ordering a large meal or leaving. But I enjoyed this location and its atmosphere, and did decide to order some food too because it was a good experience.

Walk-ins only - plenty of space inside and outside, good range of sweet and savoury, and really great staff.

My friend and I planned to go on a Saturday 10: 30am. He arrived at 10am and managed to get a table outside in the back. When I got there by 10: 30 it was already pretty busy - so keep this in mind if you want to avoid busy times as a walk-in customer.

Ordering is simple via the QR code. They had a range of great options sweet and savoury. I’d also say their kids menu is bigger than the usual options listed. I ordered a coffee frappe and a “something a lil posh”. The drinks and food came very quickly. The salmon was fresh and went really well with the crumpet and dill cream cheese. It came with 2 poached eggs which was more than enough to fill me up. The avo puree was also a nice touch giving it that little bit of extra flavour. Frappe was easily addictive. Could have downed several of those! A little on the sweet side so if that’s not your forte, I’d be ordering a hot coffee or asking them not to add any additional sugars.

Overall it was a good experience and I’d come back to try other dishes. Tempted to go for sweet next time!

Absolutely love this cafe! The food is lovely, I ordered the mushroom bagel, so tasty! Mum ordered the granola, it looked gorgeous and tasted great too, also super light! The donuts are always a hit, mum definitely can’t get enough and brings one home every chance she gets! Joe was lovely and so hospitable, staff are lovely and so is the food!

Went with a group of friends and I like the fact you can order and pay with the scan code on the table. No more awkward splitting bills. The food came out really quick and it looked great and tasted great. I’m really happy to find this local cafe.

Late morning coffee catch up with a couple of friends. Ample parking, nice ambience & good coffee. Regrettably the cafe’s policy is “no splitting of the bill”. No complicated orders made, so it shouldn’t have been a difficult polite request. Disappointing.

Not a bad little place for coffee and brunch, interest concept for some of the item on the menu. So if you in the area, be an Alice, and Down The Rabbit Hole for some food exploration.

Honestly the best donuts/cronuts/bronuts I've had in a long while
I thoroughly enjoyed the Yuzu Benedict too.
The matcha was a little on the diluted side, but still delicious and what I've come to expect from non-Japanese places. Definitely better than using too much too ️

Great cafe with many delicious sweets in the cabinet that are fresh daily! We came here in a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday, staff were very friendly and one of the managers were even kind enough to offer the birthday girl a free donut. When I came in for the second time my table ordered the acai bowl, sliders and baobuns- all of which are delicious! Would 100% come back

Surprisingly delicious, I wasn't expecting the experience to be this good. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Manager was very accommodating with seats for dogs. Will definitely visit again.

One of Templestowes best little cafe's without needing to goto busy templestowe village. Wonderful breakfast and brunch menu with decadent coffee Bronuts (brioche donuts) available when your feeling like a sweet treat. Excellent service and plenty of table space for big and small groups.
Love the open kitchen design so you can watch as your meal is being prepared.
Parking available on site and even a quick service window for take away coffee.

Great outdoor space, delicious food and coffee. Friendly staff, and a coffee window of you are in a hurry. Only issue was that the babychino could have been more foam and less milk.:)

Busy place but nice food and atmosphere. My dish, poke ball, was a lot spicier than it suggested on the menu. Still yum though

We had the Breakfast Bagel with roesti and the slow cooked lamb (Beyond the rabbit hole).

My friend and I both enjoyed our meals and the coffee was good.

Not trying to be harsh but we both agreed nothing was outstanding just good and that's why it's a 4 for me and not a 5. Felt like if the food and coffee just had that little bit extra it would be an easy 5.

If your looking to get ACAI bowls, i honestly think they have the best ones (the granola is the best) in the eastern suburbs. Also the sweets are delicious.

I havnt had my food yet, but based on the size of the handle on the coffee cups i can tell you this is a fine establishment.

Never again should we settle for mugs with finger holes that could only be used by infants.
