Dove and Lyre

One of the most fascinating and amazing shops I've ever been into. Such a huge collection of artefacts, fossils and gems. Everything looks so good and my friends and I loved it.
Items appear genuine so prices are high. Only for very special gifts or the upper middle class or rich.

Awesome shop filled with unique curiosity's, fossils, crystals, mounted insects and ancient artefacts this place has so many unique items that make great gifts for someone looking for something different

I went into this lovely store for the first time today. I was mesmorised by the huge selection of gorgeous gems, crystals and jewellery. I spotted a rare and precious stone and after some consideration I decided to give myself a treat. I was impressed by the store owners knowledge, the store also had a nice clean energy. If you're looking for a great selection I'm sure you will find something you like.

I was served by an elderly man, and I was taking photos of things I want for my birthday when he rudely asked me what I was doing.

I said that I was taking photos for my birthday idea list, and he let me do that. Then I realised he was following me around the store for a while, eventually he told me in a condescending voice that people take photos of gems for competitions.

Then, he rudely assumed that I was trying to enter competitions or sell gems at a lower price which was not the case at all.

Anyway, he scared me so much that I'll never come back to this store again.

Today was my first visit and the selection exceeded all my expectations and I cant wait to go back! Everything was beautifully presented and I could navigate with a double pram easily which is not the case in many stores. Cannot recommend this store enough. Its my new favourite. So glad my husband told me 'there is a rock shop up there you might like'
Bought the most beautiful piece of Labradorite I have ever laid eyes on. Photos dont do it justice and happy with the price point too!

Mornington needed a store like this. Amazing collection and well-priced items, definitely going to shop here again.

The type of shops that belong in mornington, brings life back to our town, we need more of these beautiful small businesses with such lovely pieces of art and very special gifts that are treasured forever. So happy they have come to make mornington home.

This shop is absolutly amazing! It is like entering a museum and the lovely and knowledgable humans that work there make it a really special experience. I highly recomend taking your children here, it's as good as any museum and they can hold the pieces and dream of long ago times.
