The pizzas here used to be really good, toppings used to be quite generous but now with the original you’re lucky to get 1 piece of shrimp per piece. Came back to retry after the last pizza disappointed a few months back, but it hasn’t improved. It’s ok, but don’t get too excited.

Best lunch in the area with great service and GREAT PIZZA. Do yourself a favour and treat yo'self to one of these amazing pizza's!

Best pizza i've come across since moving to Melbourne 4 years ago. The man at the register tonight was very welcoming, this will become our local pizza place.

I recently ordered the Meat Lovers pizza from Double Zero and it was a great tasting pizza.
The base was cooked well, good amount of topping and very quick at delivering the pizza.

Great pizza. Fresh, good quality ingredients used and not puffy dough on the outside of the pizza. Thin crust and well cooked.
Pasta also quite nice. Gnocchi with bolognese was tasty.
Reasonable prices, quick service time.
Overall good experience. Will go back

The quality of the pizza seems to have drastically declined since this place changed hands. Our last 2 orders, the most recent of which being tonight, were a huge let down compared to our previous experience months ago. The first time we thought it was a slip up, but it seems something has changed. Freezing cold prosciutto and bocconcini put on a hot pizza base causing a soggy, sweaty mess.

How friendly, and how wonderful was this experience. I wasn't sure whether we could dine in, and we came to find out that it is a take out joint with outside seating. The owner cameout ashe noticed we were looking around, and promptly had us sit outside close to the heater and joint the tables for our family to sit. Took the order and catered to the children by ensuring there were no herbs on their pizza.so good, star service and the kids got treated to free ice cream from the owner.the pizzas were delicious.not overly loaded, but good dough and flavoursome. When stuck in hawthorne for a quick bite, def one worth stopping by. Throughout the time we were there the joint was busy pumping out orders for pick up, so can assume quite popular with the locals.

Delicious pizzas, great bases and the hot donuts were Devine! They do vegan (just without cheese) but enough flavours cheese not needed, but would be an extra bonus if they did vegan cheese. Staff friendly especially the young girl with red/blonde hair with super friendly smile.

Amazing pizza, the best i have ever eaten. Super fresh ingredients. Incredible flavour and crust. Super friendly staff. Very quick wait time. I think you should try it for yourself. So glad this is my local pizza restaurant. I am in heaven eating my pizza.

Just ordered delivery, timely arrival but pizzas tasteless, soggy and basically no anchovies on my pizza. Very scarce toppings and had to add BBQ sauce to make it edible, threw most of it out. Only wish I had read the more recent reviews.

Ordered couple of pizzas yesterday. They were amazing and toppings were very good for a great value. I asked the pizza maker if he could make the pizza base crispy, he did an amazing job the pizzas were perfect. Amazing staff, highly recommend it to check it out.

Suuuuch good pizza! Stopped here by chance and definitely coming back. Pizza was the most flavourful we've had in the longest time. We can't stop thinking about it!

Favourite Pasta and Pizza place, I use to get food delivered all the time when I lived in the area.

Was fine. The pizza was a tad over cooked though which meant the crust was burnt and way too crunchy. Topping was tasty

My favor is marinara. Plenty of ingredients, love it so much. I love the pizza little bit crisp, its my personal preference. Traditional one is also good deserved to try. Service is really great!

Got a HSP and it was pretty meh. Meat was dry, not much sauce and the cheese was literally just piled on top, not even melted (and it wasn't even hot enough to melt the cheese).

The sauce and toppings are really top quality but it is not my pizza base of choice. It's quick service and a good old family operation.

Service was slow and pizza tasted like cheap ingredients. Definitely better options around Hawthorne that this.

This place is a game changer and will make you want to eat pizza all day every day. The pizza is decent priced however what you get is priceless. Amazing gourmet toppings, cooked to perfection with customer service that feels an Italian pizzeria in the 1970s. Friendly, personal, perfecto. Absolute favourite! Try the Americano itll make you feel like nonas hugging you from the inside.
