Flavours very bland. Chicken and vegetables and beef and oyster sauce. The vegetable spring rolls nice. In both dishes the onion was raw, kids not happy. The special fried rice had nothing in it accept peas pork and bean sprouts. Room for improvement in the sauces would make this food much more flavoursome

This is just good decently priced Aussie Chinese style Bain Marie food. They had non fried/saucy type of choices such as five spice braised pork, beef 'rendang' and pepper chicken with beans etc.

Oh my goodness as far as value for money cheap eats goes, this is it! For $13.50 you get a huge serving of rice and 4 substantial dishes of your choice from a baine-marie. If 4 dishes is too much for you, you can get one with less choices for less than $12.
You can help yourself to nice piping hot tea from an urn. Food was tasty.
10 square tables for dine in. 1 hr parking at the rear off Warrigal Road. I observed a lot of takeaways while I was dining in.
Next time I might try one of the fresh cooked dishes. For today the baine-marie was fine.
I had steamed rice with curry chicken, beef rendang, pork trotters and tofu. I think I can skip dinner now.

Excellent value - a large was enough for two of us. This might not be the best place for authentic Chinese food, but it's a great place to grab Australian Chinese dishes, which are getting harder to find.

My top pick was the sweet and sour chicken - it was packed with flavour. My husband, who is Chinese, loved the lemon chicken - sauce was added right at the end to preserve the texture.

There were lots of vegetables in the fish and beef with black bean dishes, which was a huge plus.

We'd both be back for sure.

I have been eating here for around 10 years now, and have never been disappointed at the quality of the food. It's like a home cooked meal, and you can tell its cooked with love and care. Can always rely on leaving satisfied and with a full tummy.

Would highly recommend it, you won't regret it.

Not the best Chines food I've ever had and its more than a little overpriced for the quality and portion size, they definitely try to get away with overloading your meal with plain white rice as opposed to the meat and vegetable dishes.

Last week I order food off from menu log. The dumplings where raw. I didn't realize as I ate some and then my friend had shown me. We also order Pork with mushrooms and there was barely any meat and tasted stale. Called the shop, they guy was rude and refused to acknowledge that the dumplings where raw which I have pictures off. They didn't offer to recook the food or a refund. Very disappointing. Do not recommended. I've been calling and asking to speak the owner directly but they keep informing she has left. Will be reporting to Department of Health Food and Safety

First time at this restaurant and was served by Rosie, a very helpful and lovely person. The food was cooked to order, very fresh and was delicious. Would recommend.

There r way too many fake Chinese restaurants in Mel ae this one is def not one of them. Love those lunch special options most. They literally taste like home. Not overly saucy and greasy at all like some unauthentic Chinese cuisine. The staffs r always very friendly and the price r reasonable, or even cheap! Strongly recommended.

One of my local Chinese food places near my work. Always go in there for lunch and the staff are absolutely lovely. The food is fantastic!
