New favourite Korean late night restaurant.

I’ve been here twice and both times were amazing.

The rice cake with seafood and the soy pork belly is my absolute favourite. The pork belly is so juicy and soft, topped with some side dishes and lettuce.

They also have Hock, which my friends enjoy however I’m personally not a fan of.

Food is always super fast and staff are super friendly.

I would recommend making booking as some nights they are super busy and wouldn’t take walk ins.

10% discount offer on all cash payments too. If you want to get a bit of a discount, if you pay your bill via cash payments to get a further 10 per cent off your bill. We saved 6 dollars the last time we went.

We had a birthday party last week. The food was delicious, although we think it is kinda weird to charge for additional veggies to eat with the Jokbal. The place is cosy and nice. Would eat here again.

Genuinely makes me feel like I’m back in Seoul when I’m here. They don’t act cheap like a lot of the BBQ restaurants in Melbourne do and actually supply sesame leaves (깻잎) with the bossam and jokbal. Delicious
Can’t wait to be able to eat in again!

"Dosirock" means "lunch box" in Korean - kinda cute but ironic considering how most customers visit to grab soju with friends. Dosirock is known for their signature "Korean Pork Hock Plate" which includes heaps of banchan and spicy buckwheat noodles. We chose "Hot" and "Garlic" flavours with "Oyster Pancake" as a side.
Overall, I loved it here and probably best Korean pork hock I had in Melbourne. Large size (~$40) was big enough to feed 4 & diced pork hock was cooked perfectly - slightly chewy outside but soft and succulent inside. Soju went really well together as it washed down the oilness in your mouth (Pleasantly dangerous as I wanted to drink more and more lol). Spicy buckwheat noodles were also flavoursome and refreshing which complemented the pork hock beautifully. Unfortunately, oyster pancake wasn't that great - sub par. I'd love to try their soy pork belly next time!

The food is 10 out of 10 except the level 2 is already burning hot for us. The best thing was, I asked the waitress to order the rockmelon dessert for us, but instead of cutting all the rockmelon pieces into balls, we want particular one piece to be cut bigger for our 7 months old boy to chew. The waitress probably didn’t understand what I mean, she checked with the kitchen and said they cannot sell like that. I said that’s fine just place the order. She was the only waitress there and she might forget to put the order in for us. We waited for a while and then double checked with the manager if we had our dessert ordered. Unfortunately it was not there. We decided to leave it and wrap up to go. Before we left the manager passed us a container of rockmelon. He said that’s for our baby.
I thought that was so kind of him! It’s 100% five star for this place!

We loved it. Our first time. The smell of the dishes was intoxicating. Every mouthful a pleasure of the senses.

You've gotta have the Pork Hock here. Comes at a big portion (even at medium, it's enough for 3).

I think the best Jokbal is in Dosirock in Melbourne!
I ordered two kinds of garlic and hot flavors, that taste was really great.
When you want to have a Jokbal, make sure to go here! The meat is so fresh and delicious, staffs are kind. Strongly recommended!

Holy cow this was delicious! I like a bit of chilli in my meal and they didn't disappoint after I chose the triple chilli option! Thankfully it didn't spoil the flavour. I would definitely recommend this place if you're feeling some Korean. (Try the Pork dish)

Beef bulgogi is one of the best dishes. Crispy chicken with different topping sauces and pork soups are recommended too. Service is quick and attentive

I had the pork hocks, spicy fried chicken, soft tofu soup and the buckwheat noodles. Reasonably priced for a group of 5. They also have a good selection of beer and Soju. The atmosphere is intimate with booths and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Best ham hock (jokbal) and braised pork belly place in town, and whenever we go, the quality of food and service both is so consistent. I really really liked the manager guy, he provides one of the nicest service I've experienced so far, so hospitable and professional at ALL TIMES, every time I've been there. Also, nice food menu that you could order some food for dinner, lots of sharing items and even Korean fried chicken; whereas many Korean places which sell Korean fried chicken don't sell anything else on the menu normally.
If you feel like some fried chicken, but also some braised pork belly and spicy noodle with some dumplings on side, you better off head to this place.

Always enjoyed coming here. Good for a meal and casual drink. The Cass and Hite beers are a little light on taste though. For dinner had pork belly which was yum and tender, and boneless fried chicken.double yum. Service is prompt and with a smile.
