Dosa Plaza Camberwell

I came online to write a review about the poor service but seems like i don't need to. Other reviews have made it clear this place doesn't value its quality of service or food. I waited 1 hour and 15 min for my food, i eventually got fed up and went to pay for my drink so I can leave and they refused to let me leave. Told me to wait as the food is "ready". Give this place a miss and just drive to the local indian store and get the cheap packaged food, it will probably taste better and be ready faster.

Worst place ever for eat-in and delivery. For eat-in, they take too much long time to serve even the starters. For the delivery, they almost take 2 hrs just for cooking, no matter if you order only few of the items! Overall, the person will get frustrated at the end by waiting so long.

I don't usually write a review, but this place is soo soo bad that I wanted to let the people know

1) After ordering the food arrives ages later (I ordered around 8: 30 and got my food at 10). You apparently lose your appetite

2) And after being so hungry and at a mindset where I was okay with anything, I had the food and nearly throwed up.

The veg sizzler was so awful. Dosa was so gross and bad. The Chola Bhature, was the worst food I ever tasted in my life. And if you think the taste was the only bad thing, all food were served cold.

3) More than all these and also the main cause for all the above reasons: THE WORST MANAGEMENT. The owner/manager seems so rude. That lady doesn't know how to run a restaurant and didn't even have the courtesy to accept the mistakes or criticism of her food when we report to her.

With all this, it seems that the place runs only with the intention of making more money. There is no customer satisfaction or quality of food in mind. The attitude and the professionalism of the lady in charge must change for sure. This place doesn't deserve to be called an indian restaurant, let alone a restaurant.

Had high expectations and came with friends, food was disappointing, Manchuria was not cooked inside, paneer for the starter tasted like just mixed in sweet chilli sauce and served.

One of the finest restaurant around Camberwell. Really liked their veg sizzlers and Chole Bhautre which is very tasty and comes with good quantity (impressive). Good ambiance and friendly staff. Would highly recommend to try their different varieties of Dosa's.

It's a very peaceful place with great relaxing relaxing ambiance. I tried the indo Chinese cuisine and its the best I've ever had! Loved the desserts! The Royal falooda is amazing! A must try dish.

Great place to satisfy your cravings for indian food! Especially the dosas are so good and comes with a lot of variety. Definitely a good place to be. Great customer service. Loved the dishes!

Great place to try authentic south Indian dishes. Very happy with the quantity and taste. Great ambiance and very good services. Highly recommend who really craves for yummy foods. Got lots of variety of Dosa which is keen highlight of this restaurant. They provide the dish as per our preferences such as vegan, NOGO especially which is appreciable.

Very good and peaceful place great customer service fantastic food and really love food here. Only the good vegetarian restaurant in Melbourne if anyone look for good restaurant just go there my experience is so good

I went there because the name of Dosa Plaza but there service was very bad. Bad name to other Dosa Plaza. Charging extra which even you did not order my advise check your bill before you pay it. I want to give this Dosa Plaza rating in minus but unfortunately there is no minus rating.

It’s an amazing place with quite decent and beautiful ambience. Food items arr quite delicious and recently started dinner buffet is totally worth for 18$. You should try for sure.

Good food with plenty of sweets and savoury dishes for adults and kids.its service friendly n nice place for vegetarians.

Taste of the food was average. One learning which always stand true based on my experience is ' Never est North Indian food in South Indian cuisine restaurant' and vice versa

The food is amazing here, I feel like home. Also, I appreciate the cleanliness and customer sercise also, too quick and swift. I'd definitely give a 5 star and suggest everyone to visit here.

Took my family here tonight for the buffet! It was beyond awful! The food was sloppy and old looking, nearly everything was cold and dry and loaded with salt! The ice cream was so hard and cheap it was inedible! I have had better food in hospital. I worried I will end up with food poisoning after eating here.won’t go here again, and will be telling all my friends to AVOID!

Amazing choices of all veg food! Probably the best in Melbourne. Dont go by the name, their chinese dishes are fantastic!

Visited again yesterday to try their new dinner buffet, it is fantastic with huge variety and yummy food at reasonable pice. Will come back for sure. Great place to hangout with friends.

Very bad service. Ripping off the customer. I advise check your bill before you pay and telly your order. Charge very highly. Very small quantity. I will not go there again. There is no zero star otherwise it deserve 0.

Lovely environment and great food. Menu can be altered to cater for different dietary requirements which was super helpful!

The food is really bad, bogus and not worth it for the money they charge. Curries taste extremely sweet and not fresh at all not a second time option for sure.
