Dosa Plaza

The food was tasty but it took approximately 40 minutes for the food to come out. The restaurant was empty when 8 of us went in. While making the order, we mentioned that we were in a hurry as we had another appointment to go to. In spite of that, 35 minutes later we had to go ask again for our food. They were being made and kept in the kitchen for all the food to come out at once. So what some of us got was luke warm food and still had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the rest of the dishes to come out. Some had finished eating and some haven’t even started. This was when the restaurant was empty except for us.

The food was not at all fresh. Ordered paneer fried rice, steamed idli and samoosa chat. All of them equally bad.

Not up to the mark. We ordered bhaji pav masala papad and sizzler. Bhaji had no taste and didnt have any vegetables at all. Pav was half roasted. Masala papad was straight from the fryer, there was oil all over the plate and it seemed like the chef was in a hurry! Sizzler had no taste and was not at all hot! Worst experience ever! One lady from the staff seemed to be like working forcefully! No greeting or serving sense at all! Moreover, The food was overpriced.

Best naan in Dandenong. Love the food and front counter girl has amazing customer service skills.

Love love love it! This place has become extremely better since the new management is managing the restaurant. Staff was very kind and Friendly. Sambar was delicious. We ordered Salad dosa, Masala dosa, onion Utthapam, Rasam, Masala Papad, paneer chilly dosa, sizzler (Z2) and everything was delicious… Highly recommend. P. S this place is undoubtedly better than Dosa hut

I just ate the most delicious Papdi Chaat I’ve ever eaten. And the carrot Halwa was just exceptional. The waiter told me to call him if I had any questions and when I asked him what I should have he offered me a combination with idli and dosa that wasn’t even on the menu. It was very good advice because it was amazingly tasty. Five stars. Would recommend.

The food was fresh properly prepared and a great value for the price, I highly recommend it. Mysore masala with cheese is the best I ever had it, chef nailed it perfectly and service was very good.

The Schezwan Sizczler and Paneer Tikka Rice was simply delicious. Cooked to perfection & was such a hearty meal. The serving staff, Shiwani was very friendly and answered all queries with a smile. Great service. Highly recommended

We order flooda that was rubbish and sawiyan was not cooked properly…was raw and very hard to chew …. Not recommended at all … waste of money

I just ordered dal.makhani from dosa plaza.the best taste i have ever had.don't know particularly the person who made it.but it is just woww.thank u so much for such delicious dal.

I ordered food today via uber eats and it was too much salt in the food, totally waste of money

I happened to be at this place with three of my friends and had Masala Dosa and Chinese delight Dosa. It was an amazing experience we have ever had. This is one of the best places you can ever be. The service was also an outstanding experience and all were on time.

Excellent food! Ordered a takeaway Indian main course dish yesterday, amazing taste ; haven’t had such yummy takeaway since long! Keep up the quality!

We walked in during lunch time & received a warm welcome & we loved the enthusiasm of the staff who helped us to order since it was our 1st time especially the quantities which ultimately was the perfect amount & the food was just amazing & fresh. Please try their Mango Lasi which is the best I've ever had & was shocked with the final bill which was so reasonable. In a nutshell, Warm, friendly, quality & value for money is what I would some up Dosa Plaza.

Worst experience ever the food was microwaved and the dosas were literally stuck to the plate and the taste was awkward.

When this first opened a many years ago it was constantly packed and the food was great for fast serve Indian fare.
After not being here for a few years, we visited twice over the last month and found the place was comparatively quieter, and the food not as consistently good as it was in the past.
The Dosas our group ordered were pretty good, but I wasn't so lucky. I ordered the Punjabi thali and I felt like everything was absolutely packed with onion and oil or ghee, so much so that, that was all you felt like you tasted and it left you with an icky feel.
When we sat down at the table we were directed, there were old chips on the floor under our table which was a bit yuk.
Overall I felt it wasn't as good as in the past but some in the group did have some nice Dosas, and the carrot halva was very good. A bit of a mixed experience.

We ordered Masala dosa and it's taste was awesome. I recommend everyone to try something here.

Dosa Plaza is a lovely restaurant, delicious food and friendly service, beautiful atmosphere, definitely hope to go back again and agin.

It was worst ever experienced in melbourne. I will not recommend this place for dinner or lunch because the food they served was microwaved even like they microwaved dosa so please don’t go over there expecting good food it is just waste of money.

Food was really good, quality and quantity both were fine. Coconut Chatni with dosa was delicious. It does not mean dosa n sambhar was not, it was equally delicious Service was great. Under new management must visit So much improvement can be seen. Friendly staff.
