Struggle to fault Dons. A no frills friendly neighborhood wine bar.delicious fresh food, desserts are a delight. Always a great wine selection, staff are easy going and always having fun. If you're after a great feed, good vibe and fun wines, Dons is your place.

Don's had been recommended to me so we tried it out on Date night. Loved it! Fun and cheeky waiters, excellent wine list, interesting menu & most of all I loved the random song playlist! Very cool joint, highly recommend!

Food, wine and vibes are top notch. It’s no wonder this place has a cult following. Will be back!

Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend the chicken burger. I like it more than I like the knights over the roosters. Roosters are $2.60 get on it!

The cutest, most homely vibe and such lovely staff! We told them we were vegan (and we were prepared to just have chips) but they went out of their way to accomodate us with shared plates. Love love love

Visited as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine’s Prahran crawl. Had some fresh tasty bites, whipped up at the bar - focaccia, ricotta, peppers and a mussel pasta - all from the usual menu and a nice glass of vino. Simple food done well.

Such a fantastic experience and atmosphere at dons.humble and service that delivers over and beyond.great vibe with the vinyls going and everyone chatting away. I’ve come back three weekends in a row, it’s hard not to! Anchovies are delish, especially with the fresh hot and crispy (!) focaccia.love how chilled the place is, waiters cooking and ceiling but also serving everyone and having a chat.feels like you’re at home, thanks Dons!

Great food, exceptional service and interesting but delicious wines awesome vibe. I thought the music was a touch loud but maybe I'm just getting old chicken/eggplant burgers a standout. Exceptional.

This place is special. I never leave reviews but Don’s is something else. The staff are incredible and the vibe really is that you are walking into someone’s living room. Couldn’t rate this high enough xx

Extremely friendly and cosy venue. Walked into this place looking for something to nibble on during a lazy Sunday afternoon and was surprised by the high standard of hospitality, food, and atmosphere. Will certainly return ASAP.

Fantastic! I was there with 3 other friends. We had wine and shared some food. We tried 4 different plates. The chef knows how to cook! Everything was delicious, refined and paired very well with all the delicious wine. Short menu. That’s why it’s so good. You can feel the care and love! The staff is also super friendly! Highly recommend! I will go back and bring more friends:)

Such a great experience. Staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us. I’ve been to some of the best restaurants in Melbourne and the staff here was the best service I’ve received. Food was amazing and made in front of us. Catered for my dietary requirements and made me a seperate meal from scratch off the menu as well. Could not recommend Dons more.

Outstanding bunch of people, food is delicious and drinks are tasty. Nothing but time for this place.
