Donny's Deli

I wouldn’t go to donnys deli as it’s expensive and people are very rude and nasty. Hygiene is non existent I found hair in my food. Best option is coffee shop next door Giant Little cafe great vibes and friendly.

We stumbled upon Donny’s Deli when we were looking for a hearty sandwich to satisfy our cravings.
The space inside is limited, only window seating available and limited to 4. We ordered the Rueben and the Delj Cuts, both were fresh and delicious. Only feedback is the Rueben could have possibly had a few more slices of pastırma, besides that 5/5.
Also, it doesn’t look like there are any pig meat options, some TikTok’s say it is halal but I can’t confirm nor deny.

Coffee was also very nice!

Definitely recommend if you are limited to the meats you can consume and enjoy a good deli sandwich.

Friendly staff, excellent food and coffee. Mushroom toastie is delicious! I have even converted my mum who is very picky. I go here twice a week or more for just a coffee. So glad I discovered this place! Very reasonable prices for such large portions.

Small menu that is really well done. You can also buy bags of bagels or really good mini baguettes.

Was definitely a positive experience only things don't get there too late or there'll be nothing left from the special food. Really good at sandwiches would come back just to taste the chicken bagel. Morning advice is put a little bit more in the sandwiches.

The vibes, the staff, the pricing and the food are always so incredible. I’ve tried almost all the sandwiches and they’re by far the best in the area. They have delicious bagels now too.

Getting my morning coffee from Donny's is always a wonderful way to start the day! Lani's soy lattes never miss and the mushroom toastie (tbh all the toasties) is amazing. Staff are always so cheerful and friendly, I recently moved further away but still find myself getting my daily coffee at Donny's as the their sunny energy and great vibes make the 20 minute walk worth it!

Um okay so the bottom middle part of the plain croissants here are so buttery and delicious that I see god every morning - and she is, in fact, made of butter.

I came late one day and they had sold out of most options. (My fault)
But oh golly gosh I was so happy as my I had the one of the best sandwiches that I would not normally order.
Their mushroom pesto toasted sandwich was still available. I added buffalo mozzarella to it and OMG. 10/10.
I'm not vegetarian, but wow it was one of the best things I've had in a long time.

I came a couple of weeks later. Buffalo mozzarella is no longer an option. Not even in the veggie roll. Off the menu.
Sooooo disappointed.
I got the chicken roll. It was gooood. But compared to the mushy it was 7.1/10

I really hope they bring back the buffalo mozzarella

Was hopeful as I live close by but ordered a tuna melt and was disappointed by the lack of tuna. It was mostly mayonnaise, cheese and a large pickle. Just generally not much filling and for the $14 price it wasn’t worth it. Seem to have invested in branding and merch but less so in the product…

Staff are lovely, the sandwiches are great with such good quality fresh bread! Coffee is on point. Gretel (pictured below) also super into it.

Really, really good sandwiches, I have had the Reuben and the Tuna Melt both were top notch.

The team here are so bubbly and sweet! What tops it off is the delicious toasties, in particular the mushroom toastie… absolutely delicious! Do me a favour and grab one! You won’t regret it:)

A real jewel in a plethora of coffee shops/cafes in Brunswick. So well priced and the food was delicious. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. A must visit.

We got the pastrami and mushroom pesto toastie to share. Was amAzing and filling. The flavours just popped. Coffee was good and friendly service. It’s a small place so don’t expect to dine in as it’s only 5 seats. Highly recommend!

Newest and best sandwich bar/coffee house in Brunswick. It's simply next level. The in house made loaded sandwiches are to die for. Absolutely blows away other so called Sandwich Bars like Nico's, delivering astounding value and taste. The trip is worth it, if just to see the 70s Style chick pumping out amazing coffee. Awesome work guys.

For $10-$12, you receive the best sandwich of your life. The ciabatta is beautiful and crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The fillings are perfectly proportioned and the toasties are perfectly golden brown with a sprinkle of salt. You are kidding yourself if you pass up on this killer feed. 11/10
