Where do I begin?

The hospitality and service at Doner Kebab was AMAZING! Kerim makes the best Doner kebab I've ever had and lets not get started on the HSP they make. Although this is 40 minutes away from me, I will always drive here and have the best kebab of my life.

10/10 Will recommend.

I irdered mixed hsp through menulog what they gave me was just lamb in it without cheese and without any cutlery and napkins like you want me to eat it with hands i was at job and i had nothing to use to eat food poor service wasted my money

I recently visited Doner Kebab for some kebabs, and I can confidently say it's a good place to satisfy your kebab cravings. The standout feature here is the service - it was consistently excellent throughout my visit.

The kebabs were tasty and satisfying, meeting my expectations for a satisfying meal. While it may not be the absolute best I've ever had, it's certainly a solid choice when you're in the mood for kebabs.

What truly stood out, though, was the attentive and friendly service. The staff made the dining experience enjoyable, and their warm hospitality added an extra layer of comfort to the meal.

If you're looking for a reliable spot for kebabs with great service, Doner kebab is worth a visit.

What's happened to your chips guys? Just got some and they were so stale. So disappointed.

So good! Chips were banging, crispy to the last one. Salted perfectly (I like mine on the saltier side). Kebab was great, rice pudding was excellent. The guys serving were really nice too:)

I have become a regular, food is quality wait is never to long and always greeted with the welcoming classic hey brother. You can’t go wrong!

Food is really great if ur visiting them they have a dessert called Turkish rice pudding try that absolutely delicious.

Best Kebabs ever! Ever since it was bought by new management, the food is fresher and tastier! Food is always consistent and the owners are lovely!

From a food van to a shop set up, still the same quality HSP and kebabs. Slight difference in serving portions, not a fan of cold fries being refried and served. Just what l picked up on while waiting for my order, other than that good clean food.

A takeaway kebab caravan that always provides excellent quality food and service with a smile. After one visit, these guys make you feel like family. After two visits, you begin to act like family. I have never had a kebab from here, be it a HSP or a wrap that did not have fresh meat in it.

You will not regret it!

Hsp used to be amazing but since new workers came in it is bad cheese not melted no spice barely any chips. #justice for old workers #bring them back # they better

Super friendly guys, great service, great convo, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere but most importantly - awesome, good quality food. I look forward to trying their sister shop - Four Sisters. I hear their lamb soup and homemade baklava are superb.

I am reluctantly writing a review as there is no way to email Doner Kebab privately.

I bought a Lamb Kebab and small chips in store last Thursday night 12 May 2022. ]

Doner Kebab had 1 other customer in the shop at the time.
The pita bread was not heated up.
The onions were raw.
The actual kebab was cold.

I ate it anyway and thought I would email Doner Kebab privately to let them know to find out what happened. Benefit of the doubt.

There is no website. No email address.

Two or three weeks when I went there - Doner Kebab was very busy. I was looking forward to enjoying one of their Lamb Kebabs. During lockdown restrictions I went there probably once a fortnight.

It appeared Doner Kebab was short staffed or had a shortage of staff that night a few weeks ago.

I waited 8 minutes waiting to get served. Then I left without ordering. Figured there was probably a 30 minute wait. I was hungry and went somewhere else locally.

Benefit of the doubt. I went back and last Thursday and was served a cold, unappetizing Lamb Kebab.

That's 2 bad experiences in a row.

Result - I am not going back for another 3 months - mid August 2022.

There are other take away choices nearby.

Doner Kebab was a really good place for food during Covid restrictions.

It was hot, delicious and tasted great. The chips were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Lamb Kebabs were warm, succulent and cooked properly. Doner Kebab was well staffed - usually 3 or 4 staff behind the counter working.

Over the past 12 months the quality of service and standard of food seems to have declined.

Benefit of doubt - extended lockdowns, possibly higher turnover of staff, frustration with Covid, change of management or change of owners difficult to attract and retain staff, maybe supply problems, health concerns. Maybe I had a one off really bad food experience. It could be something else.

One bad experience - like a few weeks ago - I will understand.
A second bad experience - a few days ago. Thanks for the memories.

What I do know is that I would only consider going back in 3 months.

Would prefer to see evidence of improvement.

That's why I rated Doner Kebab 2 stars.
12 months I gave it 5 stars and encouraged others to go there.

Doner Kebab maybe able to turn it around to the really high quality food and service it had.

I'm happy to wait.

Chips were soggy, kebab was lukewarm and missing the jalapenos and tomatoes that I asked for, don't waste your money here.

Used to be good and still the best chicken SP in the area. Seems like it changed management when it moved locations and isn’t the same. Not reliable on a Friday/Saturday night. What else is there though

Good food, nice people and they gave my dog a container of meat for free! Update, went yesterday, two girls were working that I had never seen before, one was polite the other was the rudest cnt I ever had the displeasure to meat (get it). Food was still onpar.

This is my go to place for doner kebab. Food always delicious and fresh. I like it better now they have a shop front.

The people who work here are so nice! Everytime I've been here their service is impeccable! I'm fairly picky when it comes to where I get my HSP's, but their food is always great and my first choice every time!

I've been wanting to try this place for ages and it was great! The lamb meat was beautiful Not at all salty like some places can be and the chips are to die for. My only complaint is that you can't buy the tabouleh in a tub as a salad because it looked do fresh and tasty! A big and I'll be definitely visiting again especially since it's only 5 minutes from home!
