I think the service from one of the ladies is definitely marvellous. She's friendly, she's joyous and full of smile. Warming.

I saw the food from map, which apparently not in the menu, but she could suggested me some other menu, which was also delicious. I ended with 2 bowl of rice.

I think tough that the food taste better with sliced beef rather than seafood.

The food is absolutely wonderful. Very well priced. A great way to sample Korean inspired food

Food was quite lovely and the vibe of the restaurant was quaint and friendly! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends for a nice meal as the prices are amazing for what you get. The only thing I would adapt a little is the menu as it would of been helpful for each dish to have a description for what it is. We ordered the rice bowl, and it’s not specified what is actually in it besides the protein you choose with it, so we asked before we ordered. This isn’t really an issue at all but would be a nice convenient addition for customers. Overall good experience comprised of friendly staff, basic but safe Asian fusion food which you can’t go wrong with and a cute decorum. A good night, thanks for the food!

Bit of a disappointment after wanting to go here for years.

Not the high-end Korean I was expecting, and definitely not worth the amount I was charged.

Staff were standing behind the counter/bar all night, didn't come up to the table at all during the dinner, nor any other table.

My partner wanted another drink, so I asked for the drinks menu (Which they gave me) but the staff didn't come back past till the end while taking plates, and then asked at the very end of the meal if we wanted more drinks?

Also, they forgot to add an extra addition we ordered (Bao buns), and the waiter reconfirmed when ordering, then they never arrived. No big deal, but a funny summary of the night.

Loved Donco! The food is amazing and so well priced. Will definitely be going back again. We are in love with the lotus chips and fried chicken!

Wonderful, tasty food. Friendly staff who are all doing an amazing job in the current restrictions. Very accommodating and didn't feel rushed given our table of 6 hadn't seen each other in many many months. Thank you.

I have been to Doncos twice previously. The first time was some time ago and it was amazing. The second time I noticed there was a reduction of items on their menu so that a lot of dishes are now deep fried and there were also some slight changes in flavour. The crumb on the parmeson encrusted eggplant didnt taste any different to the crumb on other dishes. Last night we had a booking for 5 and ordered our food just after 6pm. We ordered numerous small dishes with a single side of rice. The first few dishes came out quickly and then the food just stopped. The takeaway orders started to come in one after another. The kitchen was making orders for uber eats and other delivery services continuously and was unable to keep up with table service. We received another dish after our rice had gone cold and I then questioned when out last dish was arriving. The last dish arrived at approx 7: 30 some 1.5 hours after we ordered. We left at 7: 45. Everyone frustrated at the wait especially the kids.

Staff was very lovely and friendly and our food came out very quickly! Love the black raspberry wine!

Lotus chips were pretty good, everything else was really meh. Staff were really nice and the vibe is good. Just disappointed with the bimbimbap, quite flavourless. A lemon lime and bitters was $7 which is so overpriced.

Excellent food. Very friendly, helpful staff. Do yourself a favour and book a table at Donco for your next outing.

Really enjoyed it. Normally not a fan of the "trendy" places because the hype always disappoints. But this place blew me away. The crab croquettes and fried chicken are to die for. Do yourself a favour and check it out

The food was amazing.not just the taste but presentation too.we had salmon ceviche, pork, kimchi bao buns, steamed pork dumpling, seaweed salad as entree and for mains I had tofu-eggplant bimbimbap and my husband had spicy chicken rice bowl.and all the dishes were simply amazing. My husband is a chef and is quite picky but here he loved the food. The waitresses were hospitable. I will definitely come back and recommend Donco to friends and family.

Nice food, cheap options available and nothing too expensive. Fried chicken is sensational. You can't BYO, but they have drinks there, sake is decent. Cool atmosphere, but couples have to share tables at times. Biggest issue was an hour-long wait between courses, not really acceptable at all.

Otherwise, great spot and good chow.

Visually the dishes are nicely presented and food is tasty. My only concern with restaurants in general are the unhealthy seed oils they cook with. Lotus root is an experience to try and each dish served comes with a dipping accompaniment. They eggplant was to die for. The prawns were delectable.

All we left behind was a table full of empty plates, food was amazing.

The food here was incredible, but the service not so much! Our first time here, after so much anticipation of wanting to go and we could not believe how bad the service was. Unfortunately that out shown the whole experience and took away from the amazing food that was served. Think we'll be getting take away next time!

Went here a month back, had to come back to leave a review. Food was great, so was the service.

Absolutely superb food & service. The handsome lad lachy provide excellent service, making us feel right at home and giving us the most pleasurable dinning experience. Also the pickled radishes are fully sick.

Donco is one of the best places to go in Geelong. The food is really good. The menu is very well put together and the staff are very helpful and nice. Everything is delicious and they have a good drinks menu too. It's a great place for a dining experience.
