Don't go to this branch! Worst service. Firstly when I placed order was advised 4-5 weeks. I rang them on the 5th week to know eta and they said anything between now and xmas (which was another 5 weeks away)!
I asked for them to give me a better eta and Vicky was unable to narrow it down except to say that production had my paperwork. I had to call head office who then scheduled in for 2 weeks.
They couldn't install all the curtains as Evan after doing 2 x check measures they had 1 wrong. $$8000 JOB AND NO SERVICE
I asked for a sat 17th install and they sent a message to confirm PM install.
I then get a phone call to say its scheduled for the Monday. Then another message saying ignore the previous message.i call to confirm its the saturday and ask pls call me 1 hr before install. Next day I receive a message saying install is AM. I call them again and ask which is it? AM OR PM?
they confirm PM. I ask do they have details to call me 1 hr b4? They say no!
Unbelievable.
Every step of this has been made harder by their inability to provide customer service!

The process took a little longer from measure to installation through no fault of the store just a sign of the times. Friendly and professional service. The guys that came and fitted our outdoor alfresco blinds did a fantastic job.

The quote took way too long with myself having to constantly chase it up even tho I was told 24-48 hours. The quote was then wrong many times and I had to work it out myself and email it back so they could put it on their letterhead. Was told they had stock so would be around 5 weeks.
Then got a call at 6 weeks to say they don’t have stock and will be another 2 weeks. That was false information as 2 weeks later I called and they said they still don’t have stock and can’t give me a timeframe.
Finally arrived and came for installation only to be told I had to pay for the removal of previous curtains. I was told during the quote that they could do it for me so I assumed it was a part of the service or included in the quote so didn’t think anything of it as at the time I was heavily pregnant.
I then had to pay $140 extra before the man started any work. The installer was a lovely guy but that was the only good thing about the entire process. I paid $140 EXTRA to have someone remove them and then leave them in my garage and not even dispose of them. Would have been cheaper to go to Bunnings and get a drill to remove them myself if that was the case since now I have to pay to take them to the tip as well.
The blinds themselves are nice but the ‘Blockout blinds’ don’t block out a single thing.
For such an investment it was a terrible experience with average at best product. Very dissatisfied.

Had drapes fitted to bedrooms and formal lounge area to a fully renovated home about 5 years ago. Firstly one of the windows were measured incorrectly so the track had to be remade, some of the curtains were too long so they had to go back and over the years just about all the anchors they have put in have pulled away from the plasterboard wall and ceiling. I have recently been in the roof and the anchors have not been put in correctly they are bent and sit flat rather than sitting correctly. I have had to re-plaster and paint just about all the anchor locations. I have removed all the pull cords as they don't glide properly. Really disappointed for the amount of money that was spent of full block out drapes.

Had to swap 2 tracks from left hand draw to right hand draw. Lucky I used to work for dollar curtains and knew how to do this as the fitter did not know how. That was disappointing. However all the drapes went up perfectly and am very happy with my new curtains. Thank you.

I’m not one to write negative reviews but I felt they gave me no choice as they’re ignoring my calls and emails. Really disappointed in the service provided by dollar curtains and blinds. They have now on two seperate occasions stuffed up my order leaving me with curtains and blinds I am not happy with. Putting in curtains and blinds is quite an expense so you want to be happy with what you receive and I have not been twice now. I’m kicking myself for ordering from them again after the first incident that I let go, lesson learnt now I will never order from them or recommend them to anyone. They also say 6-8 weeks for installation and it always goes over time significantly. Last order took nearly 5 months. They cancelled the installation at the time they were meant to be arriving meaning I’d taken down existing curtains in the middle of winter and made arrangements to stay home. We’ve now called to complain and they don’t return calls and emails. Probably the worst service I’ve ever received from a company.

Very professional staff, lovely atmosphere in the store, received my products in a timely manner and I am absolutely in love with them. I would highly recommend dollar curtains + blinds and will be using them in the future!
