Dolan on silk Road

The mutton skewers were very, very hard and I couldn’t chew them. None of the four mutton skewers could be swallowed with my teeth. I suggest the kitchen change a staff or remove this dish.

Excellent food if you have good taste buds for Uyghur cuisine and handmade noodles. Nice friendly staff and neat tidy restaurant for families

This used to be a fantastic uyghur restaurant.
With the name change, I assume it is now a Chinese restaurant.
My question would be if it still serves the same food and quality, also if it is still halal certified for the muslim customers as I believe the previous dolan on silk road was.

Great local restaurant serving authentic foods. I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes on their menu. Portions are great value. Skewers were super tasty and the cold pepper chicken dish was a kicker - great appetizer to share! Loved those handmade noodles soaked in the peppery sauce.

We ordered Lamb fried rice, it was absolutely delicious 5/5.

I was disappointed about the stir fry chicken n veggies with rice noodles! Because they served it with spaghetti! I even asked the waiter just in case there was a mix up.nope they used spaghetti. 1/5.

The food at Lou Lan is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can choose among many menu options.

Dear South Americans, You will find nice dishes at this restaurant, especially I recommend you "Beef Pie", absolutely delicious.

Bought rice and claypot braised beef potato. Found a strand of human hair midway through eating the meal. Disappointed by the hygiene standards of this restaurant

- lack of customer service
- waiters lack of knowledge to menu
- Uyghur restaurant with no Uyghur chef or waiters?
- noodles cold and chewy, raw meat
- noodle soup tasted like sewage water & meat cold
- lamb dumplings unfortunately didn’t taste like meat at all … (more like tuna)
- and again. Uyghur restaurant with Chinese chef and waiters? Are we sure this is all halal?
I’d rate this place a NO STAR if I could.

Worst kind of food. Ordered lamb skewers and chicken noodles…sand on the skewers and noodles taste like yaak smell…so left the noodle alone…had only the sand brushed skewers…I told the guy in the counter…no action…paid full and left the worst restaurant I have visited in my life.

Absolutely delicious, great and friendly service and speedy meals. Will be coming here again!

If you need your fix for Uyghur food, this is one of the best joints. Family run so the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The fun is simply to die for. Lamb skewers absolutely melt in your mouth, dumplings are juicy and filled to the brim. The noodles and rice dishes are excellent. And my new favorite, pepper corn chicken. Simply heaven.

The meat in my dumpling was raw, the beef handmade noodles were extremely chewy and lacked flavour. The service was average and the price was pretty good

Great place for North Chinese food. Spice levels are amazing and the soups are the best. You can push the bar of spice by letting them know. Great place for families and friends to invite.

Worst service ever. Over charged us 23$ then started saying no one can speak English to rectify the situation.
Ontop of getting the meat pie not even cut! Very racist and don’t want to communicate with you.

One of my favorite restaurants in Point Cook! The servers are so nice and they really know about the menu. The food is just perfect

Very rude service. The staff let youself write down the order, but they misread it. Even other clients also believed it is the staff's mistake, the staff still blame the clients handwriting with rude attitude. Not recommend it at all. The restaurant doest not deserve you.

Very nice customer service and the food was very traditional and loved the home-made noodles. Very reliable and super nice halal restaurant!
