DoctorDoctor reviews
73Doctor doctor were so quick, thorough, professional and caring. I was seen virtually within 10 mins and had a script text to my phone. I was able to attach photos of my sons eye for them to diagnose. Highly recommend.
Im unsure why there are so many bad reviews. This is the only Dr I could get into and I’m an Australian citizen plus pay $250 for my private health. I was extremely sick for 2 days and Dr Paulgudi Thiyagarajan was quick, considerate but most importantly knowledgeable. Thank you very much for your help.
I never see any GP that terrible like this before I couldn't make an appoiment on website so I called for help but the lady that pick up my call just said call to center near me then hang up on me what the hell is that? 132 660 only this number that show on website how I call to other? If I have othe gp to go I eon't call youfor help! I didn't even ask or say anything *** I recomment if you not happy to service quit this job and go home!
Have called several times and they never have a doctor available in Elwood. Used to use them at my old address two suburbs over and they were fabulous. So now they are just disappointing
Fabulous service. I consider myself very lucky to have this available to my family. Has helped us a few times now, everything it has been exceptional service. Keep up the fantastic work Doctors, your help is very very very much appreciated!
Called at 7pm and they said there are no doctors in our area even though I'm located in the CBD, which wasn't too bad. What was horrible was the incredibly rude, impatient and condescending receptionist I spoke to. When I asked for GPs in the city, they told me to go online and call medical clinics that are still open when I meant GPs from their service. Spoke in a terribly rude way and hung up on me with "Sure" when I told them I'd look for other clinics instead. Please hire staff who are less impatient and more willing to do their job.
Spoke with Dr James Liang, he was very kind. Have never done a consult via messaging for Telehealth but it was very simple, quick and easy for an urgent repeat script as my doctor is closed over the weekend and usually booked out early in the week when I urgently needed a script that I ran out of.
I think for instances where you just really need a doctors urgent help outside of hours, but you aren’t in an emergency or need super intense support - this is a good option.
Rang to arrange a doctor, was told there was nobody in my area. It 20 minutes past their opening time and why advertise for my area if they never have anyone. This is not the first time. I was then informed that I would have to pay $60 out of pocket for a Telehealth appointment despite them apparently being Melbournes most affordable *after-hours bulk-billed* doctor service. Bulk billed my butt because in order to qualify for that your GP has to be a subscriber. If that’s the case to it website needs to change and you cannot claim your self to be a bulk-billing practice.
The women I spoke to Vanessa was completely rude, dismissive and had no empty. The was no compassion, no understanding, not a single care. Why would I pay more for a Telehealth appointment than for a regular appointment? Her entire demeanour and attitude was disgusting and she shouldn’t be dealing with patients. I will never use this service again. Just another company looking to make a profit in an already extremely difficult time. Your employees are horrible and your service is laughable. You people contribute to the over crowding of ED’s. So disappointed.
I'm honestly unsure how Doctor Doctor could be classed as "Australia's no. 1 bulk-billed after-hours service" when, at 10am on a Sunday morning, you're told "we won't have any doctors in your area until after 2pm". I live in suburban Melbourne, several kilometres from the CBD, not far out in the countryside.
Attempted to use this service for the first time after being referred by NOC.
On each attempt at calling 12 26 60 I was kept on hold for roughly 12-15 minutes until the music eventually stopped, the call would continue in complete silence for another few minutes and eventually terminate.
I never even got to make a booking, wasted 45 minutes over 4 calls and never even got to speak to an operator.
Another one with no doctor in the area when doctors are meant to be in all areas and on call when needed what a joke
If I could give less than one star, I would. Every booking I have made has been cancelled almost immediately without explanation, and when I call to find out what is going on, the calls drop out EVERY TIME! Literally the worst service.
Whats the point of your service I ask for a telle health appointment you tell me you can't do that your fully booked I ask for a doctor to come to the house you tell me not in the western suburbs your short staffed waste of my 20 mins waiting on hold
It was a relief to finally find that an after hours doctor was available in our area and after the booking was made we didn’t wait long for the doctor to arrive. Very pleased with the doctor and outcome. Thanks Doctor Doctor!
Sometimes there is a long wait, but, such a good service and the doctor is very caring, professional and knowledgeable. Overall, always a very good experience.
Booked online, received a confirmation phone call within around 30 mins telling me the doctor hadn't left yet but would call me with an ETA when en route to my house. Doctor later called telling me he was around 30mins away and arrived around 40mins thereafter (fine for someone I assume is simply unfamiliar with the area). The doctor that attended was polite and respectful. For my first use of this service I would highly recommend. Great communication and respectful service. I will definitely use again in the future if the need arises.
My daughter was sick being after hours she called dr dr.the dr arrived she explained her symptoms he checked her throat briefly.and said she had tonsillitis.he did not do the basics such as checking her blood pressure her chest her ears and her temperature.as he was writing a script my daughter asked if she could have augmentin an antibiotic.my daughter asked for it as its a strong antibiotic.the dr refused and gave my daughter another antibiotic he also misdiagnosed my daughter with tonsillitis.in the coming days my daughter got worse and i took her to her gp who performed a full examination and blood test including a chest x ray.because he could hear bad sounds in her chest.the dr said you should have had augmentin.my daughter had to have a antibiotic injection and is now on a cocktail of antibiotics if she had the augmentin initially this would not be the case.my advice to anyone stay well away from dr dr and go to a hospital or your gp in the morning.or 24 hour dr clinic an absolute disgrace.
The doctor was so lovely and helpful (despite the late hour). Very glad to have this service come to our home
On July 1 I called to get a doctor to see my husband. They called him and said they weren't able to come. Well on waking July 2 my husband had passed away. If only someone had come. Coroner found he had RSV which developed into pneumonia. Obviously if I'd realised things were that bad I would of called an ambulance. Very devastating.
Made an online booking in the morning to have someone call an hour later and hang up and they therefore cancelled the booking. I tried to call the phone number which nobody would pick up for 20 minutes before I gave up and tried making another booking. After another lengthy time, I answered the call within the first ring, the person who answered seemed shocked she got through to me and then proceeded to tell me my booking is cancelled because it's all fully booked.so why accept more online bookings and waste our time? I asked to complain and speak to someone, to which she said she can't do that and I should try call another time, knowing full well how hard it is to get through. I don't know why they offer to provide a service if they are not willing to accept bookings! And they should make sure they let the call ring to allow patients to pick up the phone, not everyone is The Flash when they are sick! Very very disappointed
