Dmak chicken reviews
22Try this place for the first time but their fried chicken was absolutely killed it. It’s so flavourful, crispy which was delicious! I ordered take away but one of the items was missing. I called back and they quickly delivered it to my house. So nice and friendly staff, beautiful customer service! Gonna come back many times!
My absolute favourite KFC in the area. Super well priced and the quality is fantastic, though the corn dog is very hit and miss, everything else is always fantastic
Food is amazing all the time. Love their snowy dip and sweet chilli. Occasionally when I need of some spicy fried chicken, mala hits the spot
Was craving KFC but wanted to try this Korean joint while I was doing my laundry nearby. I was genuinely amazed at how juicy and crispy the Korean Fried Chicken was. It was covered in a slightly sweet but savoury soy garlic sauce. Would choose over KFC or other Korean Fried Chicken places in Melbourne any day! One of the best! The staff were also super friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try the other dishes!
This place is phenomenal. I've been here SO many times and it's been consistently amazing. I get the Spicy bomb and Larb in a duo set. 2 flavours of chicken, large side of perfectly crispy chips, refreshing daikon pickle and 2 cans. Unbeatable value at $30 AND more than enough to take away. Lady at the front is so friendly. It's often just her working alone so GIVE HER TIME SOME DAMN TIME and you will be rewarded with the best fried chicken (in my opinion, and I've had them all!) in Melbourne.
THE RUDEST STUFF IN MELBOURNE. THERE IS A GUY THAT I HAVEN’T SEEN BEFORE THIS MUCH RUDE PERSON. I went there to pick up my uber order. There was a kind girl that she said “ Can you wait just 2 more minutes? ” (If its not ready they need to text me on the app) I said “its alright sure” then i sat somewhere in the shop. Because they had just 2 customers in the shop! Its not busy and i didnt disturb anyone. A few moments later that guy came and told me like “ Why you sitting here? You should wait outside”. He said it not kind way, he said it not polite way. Because he things im a driver and i will do everything that what he say. I WILL NOT. Its kind of RACISM.
I HAVE A LOT OF CHOICES TO EAT KOREAN CHICKEN!
Highly rated this place! I love their chicken, it's super succulent and crispy. My favourite is the chicken topping is mala! Incredible good and friendly service. She was able to remember my order after only coming there twice so I only need to come and show my face and she'll know what I want
This is my new uber eat fried chicken place, everything you want in fried chicken, I get the original with da bomb mayo sauce, big portions enough for 2, win win
The chicken is so good
I ordered it with Uber Eats, but I'm going to go eat it myself later!
They sell tteokbokki and it's good!
The food was completely inedible. The spicy chicken was more like an extremely salty chicken. The cheese corn was basically a super sweet soup w a little bit of corn and cheese. Truly some of the worst food I’ve had in ages. I literally never leave reviews but this was so bad and I’m so annoyed I spent so much money on it. Not worth it get chicken elsewhere
Dmak make awesome Korean Fried Chicken! The chicken itself is well done, bit the sauce on the chicken is next level, I love the spicy bomb, while my wife is more of a Thai chili girl. They also make awesome corn dogs, the best I have ever had, do give them a try.
Ordered takeaway multiple times, best Korean fried chicken in the area in my opinion. Highly recommend the thai, mala and original flavors.
I come here often and have tried many different items on the menu and I have always been impressed. I highly recommend the towoomba udon. It's udon in cheesy "itialian" style cabonara sauce, served best with the spicy fried chicken. The fish, rice cake and mozarella dish is also a winner. The staff are very friendly and I recomend this resteraunt to everyone.
HUGE portions! Ordered the boneless chicken with Spicy Bomb Mayo. And Rose Tteokbokki - I was really intrigued when I saw this rose sauce so definitely wanted to try. Sounded like an interesting Korean vs Italian fusion! What can I say? It’s a creamy pasta-ish sauce with a little kick ️ a bit too sweet for my tasting (yes, sweet) but I’m sure others would love. The rice cakes, fish cakes and cabbage were delicious. The chicken was extremely crispy, and not greasy at all! But the sauce I chose wasn’t very tasty. Would order again, but try different things.
A gem of a find. The fried chicken isn't greasy and the batter is fried to a perfect crisp. Still feels healthy from a protein standpoint! It has a more unique flavour in its original form and is my favourite among the Korean fried chicken I have tried. It also isn't exaggeratedly priced for the quality you get. A must try!
Definitely taste nothing like authentic Korean fried chicken, it has similar herbs and spices of an Indian fried chicken. Would not repurchase.
After seeing the good reviews we had to check it out, walking into an empty restaurant I was a little worried but the service was so friendly, very helpful and the food was insane! We had fried chicken and it really did put KFC to shame. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!
Amazing chicken here, does put KFC to shame. I ordered the large chicken which is suitable for 2-3 people. Went for the soy garlic on this night; amazing batter, moist chicken on the inside. As good a fried chicken as I’ve had anywhere in Melbourne.
My only criticism is the service in that they are understaffed so getting served and wait times could be vastly improved if they hired more people. The décor is meh; it does the job but if only they had some styling to it this place would go gang busters every night.
One of the best halal Korean chicken joint. Staff is very friendly and reasonable priced. Been eating here at least once a week.
Grab takeaway fried chicken from Dmak Chicken for dinner on 22/09/22.
Staff were very friendly and attentive even though they were very busy taking order and making food by only 2 people.
The place need a bit more of renovation (I think they have already started some) to attract more dine-in customer.
Fried chicken was excellent. Super crispy outside, even though being kept in takeaway box for more than 15 minutes. The meat inside still very juicy and well seasoned.
Can ask for sauce on the side without extra charge unlike most of Korean Restaurants in CBD.
Would be better if there is pickled radish for side dishes along with the salad leaves.
Reasonable price for the area.
