Dizzy Toys reviews
13Thank you Dizzy Toys. New customer. I’m in NSW so I rang for peace of mind and then ordered online. Received my order promptly and with a smiley face on my invoice. My grandson is loving his jelly cat puppy.
So impressed with Dizzy Toys yet again. We live in NZ and often order gifts for our Geelong based Grandchildren and nothing is ever a problem. Staff always go above and beyond with finding just the right toys and are pleasant to deal with. Our last order was selected and gift wrapped with the usual promptness and we organised for our son to collect. However due to unforeseen circumstances, he was not able to get into the store easily. I received an email from Kerrie who agreed to drop the gifts off to our family’s home; wow, that is service. In fact, the best service we have had in a very long time. Thanks so much Kerrie and Dizzy Toys staff, you rock! We shall be shopping with you in the future too.
Went above and beyond service expectations by delivering a click and collect order. Great staff and great product range
A toy shop for adults as children are not welcome.
I was highly anticipating a visit to this store, and what a let down! I have never received such appalling customer service. I visited with my child who is nearly 2 yrs with the intention of getting something for his birthday. I already knew the prices were above RRP, but willing to overlook if there was something that sparked his interest.
I was impressed with my sons behaviour- but my attention was soon distracted by the hovering shop worker? Manager? Owner? Who was very unimpressed when I stated I was just looking- who scoffed at me- who gruffly stated we must not open any boxes (what? ! Seriously), and when my son had a small outburst as I was trying to move him on (actually I was just trying to get away from her!) in which she stated “you cannot cry in a toy shop”. The final straw - in which I promptly left the store. I have never felt so judged or disrespected in a store. It is clear children are not welcome here (even if they are like mine and not doing ANYTHING wrong). I’m sure if she knew of my open ended wooden toy collection with Grimm’s as the star I would have been treated differently, as $$$ talk.
I’ll never be stepping foot in the store again or purchasing online. I’d rather not have a product than purchase from this store.
I think there’s some confusion here who toys are for. Also don’t plan on taking a pram as there is no space to fit - another oddity for a children’s toy store
Purchased a lego set on Friday morning, Item received on Monday, very fast delivery.
Packaged very well.
My Son is Very happy and loving his new lego set.
Customer service was really good, best customer service I've received in a while.

Will be making purchase again.
Highly Recommended
I think I have just had the most incredible customer experience I have ever had courtesy of Kerrie at Dizzy Toys. We recieved a immaculately and carefully packaged jigsaw from them which through absolutely no fault of their own had a single piece that had been slightly damaged. We sent an email to let them know and not only did they open another to find a replacement piece (out of a 5000 piece jigsaw!) but then also sent money to return the other which we were more than happy to do regardless. Top that off with a kind and lovely email and it has made our week. A true and rare example of kind and considerate customer surface that makes you want to be a loyal customer and give a heartfelt 5-star recommendation. Thank you Kerrie and Dizzy Toys!
Great little shop, a little over priced.
My daughter and myself do visit regularly since moving to her farm at Bamganie.
However our visit on Satuday was somewhat not the experience we had on our previous visits with the"manager "being very abrasive and not allowing my grandson to touch anything, not even the little bedlight i was about to purchase.
Oh dear staff must be hard to find in Geelong as this lady is not worth her wages.
We left there and went to toy world on Shannon street, WOW what a difference there, staff great and a great range of toys
a win for toy world we'll be back.
It was so nice to greeted and offered such friendly service in this little toy shop - I feel like genuine customer service is a thing of the past and I really appreciate it when I see it nowadays!
Very poor range. Particularly object to the hackneyed gendered presentation. I've never spent less time in a toyshop than this one.
Shop its to small and jammed full, hard to move around expecially if you have a pram. Alot of items are expensive. Tho the customer support and service is good.
Great place for quality toys. Very helpful resolving a problem with a piece I bought at Christmas. Stand by their products.
Great range of toys without being over whelmed with to many choices. Staff friendly and helpful, prices acceptable and what you would expect from a small business. Well worth a visit.
Dizzy toys has a great selection o toys and costumes, the emoji stress balls were really well made and very squishy, but they were a little overpriced, most of the products are a little overpriced like the shopkins series 5 they sold them for 3.50 but Woolies sold them for 3.00.the quality and care all the toys were in were brilliant i didn't see any damaged packaging which i thought was great.i also really enjoyed how the shop was very neat and tidy.i totally recommend.
