I found all the parts I needed for my car in just a matter of minutes. Prices are reasonable as well. So many cars and they constantly keep updating stock, so you hardly find a car that is totally stripped out.

Update: They closed the yard to public access during COVID and now they only have a website through which you can search for vehicles and request quotes for parts you want. I miss being able to physically see the cars and take out parts myself.

No longer diy auto wrecker. Now you need to order online. I requested a few quote for parts via the online portal but never received a reply. Disappointing.

Cheapest parts in Northern suburbs just got to be lucky to find the model of car your looking for. Self removal required or bring a friend Now closed to public

Today 10th Feb at 10.41am I was served by one of their salesman whose name I don't know but he was extremely polite and very professional. Usually at wrecker shop you often dont find people so polite and respectful but staff at diy is very professional

Diy broadmeadows is the best place in whole Victoria to get a parts for your vehicle. 10 out of 10 for their wonderful service.

I only request diy to start a process where people can register their interest for the particular part like GTI's so they also get the chance to get the parts they after.

Thanks

Website says a car I want to look at is in stock, 40 minute drive later and I pay the $2 entry fee and can't find the car anywhere. Went to front office and was told "oh it's crushed we don't really update our website"

So I wasted all this fuel to get here, plus still had to pay the $2 entry fee just to find that out? I feel a little ripped off from being falsely advertised honestly, thanks (!)

Tall guy at the front office hasn't come across the phrase 'customer service'. Happily ignores customers while chatting with colleagues eating and makes customers re-sign as he didn't witness the customer sign. Maybe you should take a break from eating and do your job

Pull yourself parts enables you to get a part complete with nuts and fittings. I also often take a picture before I remove the part so wire routing etc is all recorded.

$2- Entrance fee do it your self scavaging for the auto part.fair prices. Not as organized as Pick a Part as you're looking every where for the make of the cars.

It is prices would need to be looked at since they sell used car parts it is pricey for second hand parts. But it is clean and if no luck fi doing parts new you can be sure 80 to 90% sure they will have parts at almost full price as new.

Not bad for a pickapart type wrecker, bad car park drive slow or you will scrap even with standard ride hight on most cars

DIY wrecker, don't expect any help from staff so be prepared and do your research before hand. Cheaper, more options and later models. Website and facebook updated regularly. Stock rotation is fairly quick so should get in fast before the cars are stripped or crushed. Recommended.

I was actually quite happy with the app place. I checked their inventory through Facebook then went to them. You do the work your self and then take your parts to the counter. I got a decent number of stuff and they were very good priced. Didn’t have any problem and if i find my car again in their inventory then i will definitely be coming back again.
