47Nice and friendly people, quick service, food was sensational.would recommend going back there 100%
I rlly rlly like the old man that works here and starters take to long to come out and also need to add chicken nuggets and chips to their menu
Really tasty food and great portion sizes. I don't think have seen a prawn pasta with so many prawns in it before and same goes for the salt and pepper calamari.
All the dishes were great, and had lovely service. Will visit again when back in the area.
The place has gone to the dogs since the old owners sold. Food is terrible, the decor looks like something out of a hippie commune and there is no atmosphere that was once a thriving place to be. Such a shame!
GREAT GREAT GREAT.
My wife and I were out for a lovely drive to Yarra Valley and on our way back we pulled into Dixon's Creek WOW so fantastic service and a amazing array of local produce.
I wish we took photos but it was so yummy it did not last long.
We had a cheese platter and a pizza EVERYONE needs to try this place.
10/10
We will be back this time taking photos:)
Great food, perfect portion sizes and options depending on your appetite with a great variety of drinks to suit any meal or what you feel like on the day with friendly and accommodating staff. Very good prices for the quality of food and drink.
Didn’t have high hopes seeing the outside of this place, but I was wrong!
Staff were so friendly and great, this place was also kid friendly, I love the touch of vintage on there, I had steak. Was a little over cooked but was overall nice. Kids
Portions were big, drinks were nice. Highly recommend.
Worst steak and pizza in the whole of Australia. Ordered Medium doneness. See the third photo for reference. It was so oily, they probably dropped it in the deep fryer.
The scotch fillet I ordered was served well done. They were definitely trying hard for a compliment. It was so tough and dry, you could slap someone with it and knock that said person out. Paid 41 for this and 19 for pizza.
Also 6 bucks for carton apple juice is a rip off. For that price point and cup size, it should've been freshly juiced apple.
Stars for the warm service tho! Ladies and the young dude deserves 5 stars!
Awesome menu great selections of both food & drinks.
Genuinely great service
Looking forward to the next visit.
Some lovely home cooked dishes and a great selection of beers and wines. Quite a few fellow diners there on our Saturday night visit
Best little country cafe/bar ever. Beautiful food & friendly staff with a smile. Absolutely packed today due to school holidays
Fabulous food, very busy, staff keep us informed of delay, good serving sizes, catered for gluten free.
It's a hidden gem in Yarra Valley. I had been to this restaurant a few times. Last Friday I took a day trip tour of 51 people to Yarra Valley. We had lunch there. The meals were brought out in a timely manner and cooked to perfection especially the steak and pork ribs. We all enjoyed it and had a great time. Compliments to Kristina the management and kitchen staff. Highly recommended.
Beautiful cafe. We had Mother's day lunch here and everyone loved their meals. Staff were friendly and attentive. And the food was so tasty - the pizzas were amazing. Beef ribs were melt in your mouth delicious. The rissoles were cooked perfectly and the chips were crunchy. We will definitely be back.
Relaxed, beautiful setting, amazing food & great service. Best sticky date pudding I have ever had! Changing hands end of April 2021. I hope the new owners don't change too much. (They must keep that sticky date pudding!)
We had Pizza and Fish & Chips 2 weeks ago. Both dishes not bad. Decor a bit old. Service ok. If in the area then we can come again.
It's a nice place friendly staff the other 7 meals were good. I had the beef ribs my partner had the pork ribs.they were cooked well nice and tender but very disappointed with the flavour of the hickory smoked sauce.there was to much of one spice or pepper that completely over powered it and burned our tongues.
Food was pricey for what it was.the calamari entree was very nice but minimalistic, with 6 small pieces of calamari. The porterhouse was medium rare not medium and hadn't been rested, so had a pool of blood on the plate. The waitress hovered over us. We feel like the mash potato was either mixed with deb mash potato or it was deb mash potato. The beer was nice but, I wouldn't eat there again.no wow moment for me.
Dropped by for coffee ended up ordering food.we didn't have a reservation. Ordered starter pizza very nice.partner had calamari which wasn't great. Over all popular place was busy, would call back minus the fish.pizza was fabulous.thanks.
We dropped in last minute and were pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and service was excellent. We ordered steak and sausages. They were excellent with catering to my husbands dietary requirements and no compromise on taste and quality. We’d definitely go back! The place desperately needs a total renovation though, it’s quite dated but has potential.
