This group has been an excellent support while going through the difficult adjustment period after separating.
Many members have been through long term relationships, and it helps normalise what you are going through. I especially enjoyed the walks but there have been many options offered that I have taken part in. Both online and in person. Highly recommended, it genuinely helped.

Highly recommended for those on a journey of divorce and separation. This group is informal, it's not sitting around is a circle, rather it's about meeting and chatting with friendly, sociable people on the same path. Have a drink, enjoy a walk and know you are not alone in this.

This group has made the biggest impact in my recovery process. I have met some amazing people and am proud to say that they will be friends for life. The variety of activities are opportunities to mingle, share, learn and grow.

After a long unhappy emotionally abusive marriage, we finally seperated. It was a extremely difficult period of my life. Once a socially vibrant person and turned into a withdrawn hermit. After about 9 months of trauma, depression and deep uncontrollable sadness I decided to join a divorce group. This changed my life. It helped me gain back self-esteem, introduce me to new friends and crested an outlet to join in activities and have fun. I have made wonderful friends who have to an understanding of divorce. This group is invaluable and has changed my life. I am back to my independent self and feel a healthy, strong.

I am very grateful for Paul’s generation of this group. Divorce is a grief-filled and vulnerable experience, and soon after separating with my partner I discovered this supportive group of diverse, kind individuals. To socially be with others that share the same life experiences is invaluable. To observe others arrive in the depths, then slowly but surely find their feet and happiness is really beautiful to observe. It’s unique, supportive and best of all, fun. Thank you Paul. I cannot emphasise how grateful I am for this support group whom I found on Meet Up shortly after my marriage breakdown. Everyone has been so welcoming, supportive and kind, which really helped me come out of a dark place during the early days of my separation, when I didn't think I would ever laugh or find happiness again. From the moment I first shared my story in tears and shock, people reached out to me to reassure me that I am worthy and that my feelings were valid and that I was not alone. Within months I was laughing with the group, feeling a sense of belonging again. Solid friendships are made in this group and there is always someone to talk to. There are a fantastic variety of events you can attend, including online sessions to help with mental health, social catch ups, and walks.
Thank you Paul and the organisers and to the members, old and new, for making such a wonderful group for bringing support, guidance and good times during the grief of separation and divorce.

This is a lovely Group. I joined in 2016 when I was struggling and I have met some wonderful friends through the Group since. It really helped me to chat to others. I have learned a lot, been supported and had fun. Everyone is so nice. I highly recommend anyone going through separation to join.
