Divan Persian restaurant

Their Okra with lamb is excellent, the chicken (Zeresk Polow) also nice. Fragrance, good price, as well as the Bagali Polow with a lamb shank. I also love the Eggplant with Kashk.

It is an excellent restaurant with very high quality food and unique service and a great variety of food. The owner of the restaurant, Mohammad, was very polite and respectful and always welcomes us with a smile. We have been to this place several times with my family and friends and we have fun every time and will go again.

Ordered takeout food from here, and I must say, there's a significant mismatch between quality and price. The food's quality is absolutely abysmal, not even worth a rating of zero. Additionally, the prices are excessively high. It's simply a waste of both time and money. I strongly advise against dining here.

I ordered fish and they brought me half a fish.
Food is expensive.

Ordered the platter for 4 @ $120. No where near enough for 4 people, and two of the meats in the platter were quite tough and the rice, which was 80% of the platter, was quite bland. If you want meat, much better places around than this. Very disappointing.

Went to Divan for the first time last night with a group of friends and all I can say is WOW! Food was absolutely amazing and tasty and the servings are very generous and such a good price. Don’t be deceived by the look of the place. The food certainly makes up for it. I’ll definitely be back there again and will be recommending it to others. I’m not i e to leave reviews unless it exceeds my expectations! Thank-you Divan for serving such amazing dishes! It’s a 10/10 from me!

Had takeaway the other night. Reasonable number of people in the restaurant. Service was very helpful and friendly, helping me choose dishes. Meals were tasty, grilled over charcoal chicken and lamb, heaps of rice, fried tomato, chilli and we bought some of the cucumber dip. Will be looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

High chair was nice and clean which is something I always feel I need to clean when I eat out.

Most of all customer service was amazing! Felt really comfortable and loved that staff had a giggle with my daughter and greeted her as well as a farewell.

Amazing restaurant, authentic Iranian food and very generous serving sizes. Priced really well compare to other Persian restaurants and no sacrifice in quality of food, you won't be disappointed one bit and if you are obviously middle eastern food isn't for your taste buds. If I could give 6 stars I would, thanks a lot for the authentic food gentlemen:)

We ordered jooje kebab & zereshk polo ba morgh, both were absolutely delicious. In terms of customer service, they have a pleasant attitude. I definitely Recommend.

Fife star for customer service alone! The owner/chef is such a pleasant and lively person. Now to the food. The bbq is amazing unlike most places each bbq item had unique seasoning and flavours. The rice was typical with Persian perfectly done. Would recommend.

This was our first time trying Persian food in Melbourne and @divan_persin_restaurant_ didn’t disappoint.
This restaurant was very beautiful as we saw it from the outside. As we entered the setup was so beautiful and all the lights and pictures were beautifully displayed in addition the beautiful paintings and interior.
Food was very fresh. Meat were so tender & juicy. We really enjoyed everything that we ordered, everything was made fresh and authentic.

The generous servings turned this into a feast with an orchestra of flavours. Each dish ser up unique tastes, scents and textures from the deeply spiced meat dishes to the light and refreshing cucumber & yoghurt dip plus the Faloodeh was a winner at end.
This sorbet-like dessert with vermicelli noodles and rose water syrup was a stand out for me - distinctive and lingering pleasantly.
Staff were helpful in our menu choices and friendly throughout the visit. Hooray for restaurants with comfy chairs that make a longer stay just that bit nicer.
Overall, a very good experience here worth returning. The lady who served us was super nice. Worth trying this place if you love Persian food make sure to check @divan_persin_restaurant_.

Nice restaurant in a good location, seating is generally good and staff are nice and helpful.

Their grilled meats are all good especially the koobideh. Their Khorasht (marga/curry) weren't the best.
But the kebab and rice was very nice.
Also the shank was cooked perfectly

We asked to book a table for 4, but were refused to make any bookings, so when we went, we didn't have other than 1 or 2 food choices which weren't ideal for some of us, so we left. So if you are going, be prepared not to find anything in their menu available.
(Reply 2), no you didn't tell me that anything is sold out, why would I even bother to go to your place then? That's not true!

Been here multiple times. Absolutely delicious, authentic food. Big meals and very decently priced. Highly recommend it. You won't regret it.

Best Persian restaurant in Melbourne! Firstly I love how clean the restaurant is, it’s sparkling. Delicious quality Persian kabob with generous portions at a good price. We also ordered the gahemeh and it was as good as my mums! We’ve just found our go to for Persian food. 5 stars

We love the taste and quality of the food and the main reason beside food to visit Divan is the customer service. Owner is so kind (and in Persian language we say - Mashti and bahal) and we love visiting here.
