Discovery Parks - Lake Hume

We had a wonderful 3 days here.
Lovely weather and swims in the very large swimming pool.
Our ensuite site was overlooking the lake.
Park staff very friendly and Courteous.

Lovely views, quiet park. Looks like it is progrssively being upgraded, which is great, and as a bonus walking distance to the dam wall at the Hume Weir!

The bouncey pillow opens at 8am and shuts at 7: 30pm so there is 11.5 hours a day of screaming children right next to your accomodation. I won't be back.

REALLY hates answering the phone, im just trying to pay for my holiday and EVERY TIME (the past whole year) i call im on hold for atleast half an hour?

The best place for a short vacation.
The best part is the view of the lake.
The place is so beautiful and well maintained. Kids will enjoy. Swimming pool is extremely neat.

Great location looking across the lake. Some nice facilities. Accom is ok. Functional. Double bunk bed only suitable if under 176cm otherwise you’ll sleep like a pretzel. Can only have one car park near your accom. Any others need to be outside the park. Wifi is poor and not suitable to working whilst away. Not a lot of thought around the customer experience. Seem to place guests in noisy, car park/driveway adjacent rooms when quiet ones a few doors away remain empty.

We booked for 2 days and ended up staying 4. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had no trouble setting up our 22ft caravan. Excellent en-suite with heating next to van site. Great location next to the lake ideal for birdwatching. Can’t fault this beautiful caravan park.

Spent 3 nights at this lovely park in our caravan. Quiet this time of year which we love. Had a spot on the water with great views of lake. Amenities good, great kitchen and open fire area. The pool area, although too cold to swim in was lovely. Would recommend this park, felt it looked nicer than the one on the nsw side

We have previously stayed here at Boathaven Holiday Park, Ebden, in our caravan during family travels. It was a freezing cold winter. We asked the Managers if they would open the recreation room, so that we could watch some tv. They said no.
The managers also didn't tell us that there is a comfortable kitchen room which can easily be heated (LPG space heater).
We were almost the only guests in the Park, until a couple in a caravan with their kids arrived. In conversation they told us the site fee they paid. It was considerably less than what we were charged (and we are only two).
Managers welcoming, warm, and friendly? NO

What a beautiful spot with beautiful lake views. Our club stayed there so we could all be together and the kids enjoyed the park activities

They need to change the name of either this park or the NSW park. Very confusing but otherwise a lovely atmosphere and stay.

Amazing place to stay with family. Clean room, lake views and heaps of activity for kids to do e.g. Play area and swimming. A nice place for family retreat. Highly recommended

Incredible value. Stayed here on an unpowered site only because I found it on the g’day app as we were travelling from Brisbane to tas. I was towing a 25 foot boat and they actually allocated me 2 sites to fit in and only charged for the one site. It was $18 to stay the night we had access to the pool, booked the spa for an hour for free, great showers and bbq facilities. Staff were amazing and nothing was a problem even if we did keep going back every 10 mins to ask more questions about all the included stuff for the $18 site fee

GREAT PLACE WONDERFUL PEOPLE YOU COULD NOT ASK for more the cabins very clean and tidy we will definitely be back.

I love my stay the cabins are amazing, the whole park was so beautiful and the Lake was stunning

Great accommodation. This is our second stay with DP. We traveled from Sydney via Bathurst, then Orange, and stopped off in Echuca at the Discovery Park. Then on to Lake Hume. Both stays best value for money.
Units nice and comfortable and clean. Will definitely use again when in Australia

We felt very ripped off by our stay here. We paid $318 a night for a deluxe cabin. A deluxe cabin that was anything but deluxe! We were in cabin 232 and it was only 25 metres from the giant jumping pillow so all day kids screaming, campers were parked only 2 ft from our deck, we had to walk sideways through our bedroom doorways as they were so narrow.
Why oh why would you have a not so deluxe cabin in the middle of campers and next to the jumping pillow?
When we booked our accom, we thought the deluxe cabins would be all together in their own quiet area. I tried to go and discuss how we felt after 1 night but just got dismissed and was talked to condescendingly. Never again! Cleanliness of the room wasn't great either!
