Place wasn't busy, selected a few items and waited around 5 mins at the checkout. Staff were talking amongst themselves and nobody came to serve so I left items at counter and departed.

Great place to buy very cheap meat, it's worth going to, cold in the place so wear long sleeve tops and long pants

Know your prices before you go as some are more than the supermarket. Still great for some items.

Found this place few weeks ago and have been getting my weekly supply from here since. Price is competitive with lots of option for chicken, lamb, pork, beef and frozen seafood. Convenient parking available on every visit.

I do like the place reasonably well and most certainly it will be place to return. It is competitive with another discount butcher supplier in Boronia so keep it up.

Tip: look for the expiry date to be 5 days from the date you’re buying it. You’ll get the best meat ever…

Not many people know this tip and hence why not all get the best meat all the times.

Bought what I thought was a single 3.7kg brisket.
It was two smaller briskets that were also haphazardly trimmed and wrapped for sale.
One of them was so badly trimmed that it had a slice right through the middle of it.
After trimming, there is very little meat left for smoking.
Really dissapointed and don't think I'll shop here for brisket again.
Other stuff seemed ok but not going to try them out anytime soon.

This is the cheapest chicken shop in the area and has always given me great value for money.

Though it has lot's of other cuts lamb, beef & pork. Plus some luxury cuts that have been reliable and yum.

As a double bonus, there is a spit for hire and lot's of yummy Frozen, prawns, dumplings, pie's etc very much as expected, but great value when you need to feed the masses

Nice neat little butchers, smells fresh and clean. Not as big of a range as I was expecting but still great prices, and friendly staff.

Received my first online order from them, all the meat looks fresh, we cooked the per-marinated chicken ribs yesterday and tasted pretty good. I placed the order on Tuesday afternoon and received it on Thursday morning. I will definitely buy from them again and check out their shop next time when this lock down is over.

As a loyal customer for years the management/owner need to work on there customer service I will not be going back here for meat. Im not going into the issues on here but other people need to no.

High quality products at great prices, and excellent staff, always courteous and offering tips and advice to customers. Obviously they've been under pressure for the last few days with the panic buying, but I think they've been trying very hard to be fair to everyone. Give them a try, better product and fresher than the supermarket and better value! Highly recommend. Cheers, Simon J.

I have been going to this place for almost 3 years although they have good prices and generally the meat was good lately they are off their game.every time I have been they never have the drumettes anymore which is the feature there.the lamb chops are all fat and chewy.and to make things worse I just bought lamb cutlets that were completely off and stunk.when I called in to ask for another packet they said they didn’t have it, so I asked for a refund they said I need a receipt. I said to them who keeps a receipt for meat I just bought it yesterday and I come there all the time. I have it on my phone for proof.still not good enough they will give me a credit note. They are good for chicken but not good at red meat. Not happy that a valued customer was treated this way.cutlets are expensive to feed a family of 5 with. But put off this place.

I have asked butcher on Saturday at 12: 30 pm to dice whole chicken, and she took the whole chicken from my hand and she came back to me & said we don't do this,

I said to her i have been here before you guys done it for me with $2 charge. I am happy to pay extra if you can dice it for me.

Staff reply back saying to their staff who was serving me SAY WE DONT DO IT, WE DONT DO IT, THATS IT.

Directfresh bayswater failed to satisfy the customer.

Every butcher in Melbourne they do dice the meat, chicken if customer needs it.

I never ever visit this store again and I do not recommend any one to vist this store.

Why didn't I start coming here ages ago? ! Lots to choose from. Helpful staff. Good prices. Shopping here is just so much easier. Highly recommend!

Very friendly helpful staff and a great variety of meats in time for Christmas, even some treats for the pooch in the freezer and not a bad price either!

Be careful to check receipts here! They will double things up! Was once cheaper to shop here not so much anymore.

Been looking for a good butchershop in the area for years now there definitely cheap and good quality.
