From the moment we entered this store, we were greeted by the most amzing sales assistant we have ever met! Antonio is kind, knowledgeable, honest and most of all, loves the product he sells. Our experience in this store was exceptional. 10 stars! Post sale, Antonio's communication was exceptional. So much so, that we decided to return to Melbourne from Sydney just to pick up the monogrammed bag in person! Upon arrival, we were spoilt with many goodies and never felt rushed. We could not recommend Antonio enough! He has a beautiful heart and is SO passionate about what he does. Antonio, thank you for treating us like royalty! We look forward to seeing you again in Melbourne soon.

I visited the upper level store hoping to find my espadrilles, but I ended up buying the new ballerina flats with small pearl in the front. The only thing is I have to ask for a drink instead of being offered one.

Staff are very conceited. I've had better service elsewhere, would not recommend this dior store.

Antonio was lovely and very accommodating, knew a lot about the brand. Will definitely return and ask for him next time to purchase again. Great experience!

I guess they are too busy to care. It says in stock on the website but the sales did not even bother to check in store. If we don’t want to check it in person, how about just ordering online? Shame we didn’t meet more helpful staff when visited last week.

Worst customer service ever! I was going to return a pair of sandals (which was a gift). I called customer service days earlier and was told to return the pair and buy the pair I wanted (weren’t able to exchange because the pair I wanted was slightly cheaper). The sales associate said to us they don’t do returns, she even said no stores do returns? Your policy states that you can return items. The SA stuttered and even some lame excuse that only a manager can do refunds and her manager is in Sydney atm? So you’re saying the store only operates with a manager present, even though it’s your policy? She was clearly making up lies due to kpis/sales targets I guess but it’s just wasted so much of my time. Never buying anything from them!

Poor customer service, I showed them what I want and they brought out completely different thing and saying its the one. Also when I was checking the bag, staff rudely grabbed it off my hand and giving me her attitude. It’s a luxury brand but the staffs are so unprofessional.

Would do 0 stars if i could.my partner placed a deposit on a bag ready to pick up the next week on my birthday.he went in today and made him wait 20 minutes just to tell him they have 'sold' MY BAG that weve placed on hold with deposit, their reasoning is that 'sometimes the tags for holds can fall off, were also having a price increase tmr so its been hectic' this is so unprofessional of dior. They offered my partner A CHEAPER bag to buy instead, they even told us to buy the display for same price LOL no we deposited for the new bag, i stated to her nah i have a bag collection and i never buy displays for them she said in a passive aggressive tone 'this isnt a bag its a purse' soo rude and to top that my partner needed to pay $30 parking ticket when it should have only been $5 for half an hour but they made him wait that long.really dont recommend i really thought dior was better than this.first and last time buying here

Worst shopping experience ever. Constantly lying sales. Defect products. If you can go to anywhere else, please do so. Otherwise, you will be so annoyed.

Absolutely disgusting service - rude, snobby, and nasty. As a young woman I came into the store and was completely ignored by everyone who was busy sucking up to the international clientele. Stood for around 15 minutes by myself waiting to even be acknowledged. All the staff were entirely capable of acknowledging, smiling, and greeting somebody that entered the store. I tried to make eye contact the WHOLE time and was ignored completely. Standing in the same spot for so long and looking around for anyone to even acknowledge me was embarrassing.

After 15 minutes of being ignored, I walked towards one staff member (older Caucasian woman) who was not really doing much as the buyer had another sales assistant talking to her. Given she wasn't speaking or giving service in that moment, I made eye contact for her to look at me, look me up and down, turn away and ignore me on purpose. She was directly in front of my face doing this. When I tried to politely say "excuse me" to ask her if there were any available staff (if not I would come back another day), I was interrupted by her. She gave me this look of disgust that I will not forget and told me something along the lines of "I'm actually busy with other people, you need to wait your turn. " The way in which she spoke to me and the look she gave me was so unprofessional and rude. It left me feeling humiliated and embarrassed to be spoken down to like that in front of other people. The store was not busy and it is the bare minimum to acknowledge someone who enters your store - particularly if you are "high-end". There were only 3 other people (with their partners) in the whole store and there were around 4 staff.

EVERY other designer store will acknowledge you, smile, and give you respect and customer service. I walked in to buy a saddle bag and I was judged as a customer who they thought could not afford anything because I was not of the demographic that typically shops there. I am Asian Australian, young, and dressed normally. If I walked in as an international customer wearing flashy designer head to toe- I would have had a completely different experience. Seeing the contrast of behaviour between the other customers and myself was incredibly upsetting. Go to Dior on collins, they are so lovely and actually treat their customers with respect. EVERY other designer store is professional and friendly. I do not understand how people in "retail" jobs can behave so disgustingly and high almighty to judge and humiliate certain customers and make them feel not worthy of any service. I left the store upset and I will not be purchasing anything from here. Terrible reflection of Dior and considering the reviews on here, I am surprised nothing has been done to maintain the brand image.

I had a horrible experience at Dior, David Jones CBD. I entered the store and there were several store assistants ignoring me as I tried to get their attention to assist me with a purchase, when I tried to speak to one of the sales assistants she completely dismissed me and spoke me to incredibly rudely. I’ve never experienced such treatment at a store, let alone Dior store. I would not recommend going to this location at all, the sales assistants are incredibly rude, demeaning, and judgemental. Please visit a flagship store or another location.

Due to COVID people are required to stand in line before entering the boutique which is fair enough. Today, I was the only person in line with one other customer inside. I was completely ignored by the sales assistants. One was assisting the only customer while the other was walking in and out of the back rooms. A third sales assistant entered the store while I was still waiting at the front and again refused to acknowledge me. After a good 10 minutes I had to ask when I would be attended to and was given some vague answer about the sales assistant being the only person in the store. By this point I was sick of being ignored so went and made my purchase at the Collins Street boutique. The service certainly isn’t what I would expect when shopping at Christian Dior.

The customer service from Jessica L.is outstanding! I was after a wallet and wanted to try on 2 bags, but was told by the Dior Chadstone store that they were sold out Australia wide. Jessica had the wallet and kindly put it aside for me promptly to pick up. She also advised that they did not have the other two bags I was in-between minds about but offered to order one of the bags in just for me to try on the colour to get a feel. She also let me have a look the other bag that was already on hold to get an idea of what I wanted. I was therefore able to get a feel of the bags I was eying and was then contacted when one of the bags were available to purchase a few weeks later. Due to the restrictions in Melbourne we have been working from home so I haven’t been able to go into the CBD, therefore this was done seamlessly over the phone. Jessica has been wonderful, responsive and attentive and I’ve felt as though there was no difference to me being in store physically myself. I was provided updates even during her busiest days and was made to feel like I was the store’s only client at all times with the service! I didn’t initially come in to buy a bag but due to the patience Jessica has provided, I had the time to figure what I wanted. Never in one instance did I feel pressured to buy anything I didn’t love like other designer brands. Because of my pleasant experience with Jessica, I already have my eye on a few other things and I cannot see myself shopping with anyone else other than her for my Dior fix going forward!

Rude staff! I'm caucasian and fluent in mandarin. They really do talk poorly about you when they think you're not listening.

Hit and Miss store. Sometimes you get nice sales associate and sometimes you don't. However in the past 8mths since I've shopped in this store (can have easily walked to the Collins st store however I had a David Jones card I wanted to spend up), packing ypur sold goods took ages. I dont know what they do in the back room, seriously hiding from front customers or just chatting in the back or checking their mobile phones for txt msgs, but gosh they ARE NOT PROMPT at all. I don't understand what is wrong with luxury designer sale associates in Australia these days, same poor service compared to stores around the world.

If you’re anticipating polite and satisfactory service, I would AVOID this boutique.

Upon arrival, I was left with no choice but to wait behind security ropes for 5 minutes. During this time, I wasn’t acknowledged with even eye contact, let alone verbal communication. After 5 minutes, I asked one of the sales staff if I was going to be looked after. I was advised that it was “appointment only”, I was already well aware of this as I made an appointment myself.

Once I finally entered, I advised the sales staff that I was shopping on a work break and that I was pressed for time. I quickly chose my item, as did my friend. The sales associate, Colin, who was looking after our transactions took far too long to wrap my friends purchase. Whilst he had left the floor to wrap the wallet, I was left alone without any information on my own purchase.

In the meantime, the employees that are remaining on the sale floor were too busy talking and laughing to speed up the process or make it any more efficient. When I asked another sales associate, Elise, for her assistance she rudely told me that she was too busy with another customer but it was obvious that customer was a friend and she was wasting her time with her. Neither of them were talking about or engaging with Dior products. She lied straight to me.

Several times throughout this experience, I kindly mentioned that I was constrained by time but this factor was completely overlooked and I ended up spending over 30 minutes of my time in this store while the unhelpful sales associates fraternised amongst themselves.

Imagine if the store was actually busy, god forbid they only serve one person at a time! I will go to a friendlier boutique where there are employees who want to serve customers and sell Dior products.

The people that work here are appalling unpleasant. There is an obvious difference between opulent service, and what's just plain rude. Everyone in this store needs a training work shop. J'ador Dior x

Constantly lying sales associates, more lies when they were caught out. Never stepping foot in this store again. Avoid at all cost!
