Dimmeys Coburg

When we first opened the store (moved from down the road) it was something to be proud of. Clearly defined departments and we wouldn’t leave the store until it was spotless.
I walk in there now and my heart breaks. My managers back then would be absolutely devastated now to walk into the store the way it is. It just takes a little pride in your work to make things wonderful BUT it also takes appreciation from higher up to make staff WANT to put in enough effort to be proud of what they do.
Giving it a medium rating as there is so much potential. The love of the store needs to start at management level so that it can trickle down

It's Dimmeys, like all Dimmey's, looks a bit cheap and chintzy, but the staff were super friendly and helpful and I found lots of great bargains.

Emre helped me out so much and explained everything to me as i am vision imapaired. He is patient with me and always goes above and beyond to help me. He is great with customers and professional.

The staff are so helpful when i go in with my guide dog. They are super friendly and are a great help to me. They will explain thing for me to understand. They go above and beyond.

This is by far the best dimmeys, very friendly staff, good products all for reasonable prices and in a good location too. Couldn't ask for a better shop.

Good old Dimmies, not much has changed in 20 years, still a mess inside, fun to scout around the shop to look for bargains, staff are polite and willing to help. It's Christmas all year round with decorations and christmas items available.

I love the random things you find at Dimmeys, but this one has a very old 'op shop' feel to it. Some of the clothes are stained or damaged and the awful, crackly loudspeaker radio hurts your ears.

Place is getting worse and worse each time i visit. Cleanliness 0 star, varieties of stock not so good. Management should take the situation seriously

Great prices & exceptionally friendly staff. Although l felt more staff would be great I would shop there again.

The manager at the coburg store is an absolute gentlemen, courteous, helpful and supportive. He has been there for years and the store never would run without him.

I liked this shop, good prices in many things. Birthday party items available in good price. However, I noticed that the clothes are boor quality and high priced! I couldn't buy any. I hope I find better quality next time. Hand sanitizer is available in good price. Good luck

Very Dissappointed Really full of Junk and not the Bargins what once was Not a patch on the Store that used to be in Heildberg.

One of the oldest building and businesses serving today located Coburg Shopping Center with all public transport connects from here. This place mainly about clothing shoes toys for kids working and going out clothing, kids clothing toys and many more to choose from great services huge parking area and does get busy.

How terribly sad that Dimmeys is closing down. It's a Melbourne institution introduced to me, a newcomer back in the 90s, by a friend in Kooyong whose suits came from Savile Row. Quel tragedy!

It's not exactly the ritzy-est store, but I've never been disappointed with my purchases there.

A bit of a shambles. Not what it used to be like. Manager needs to NOT yell at customers and talk very loudly to staff in front of customers. Not good impression no matter what is happening in store

Cheap mens womens kids clothes and linen, toys, crockery, bits and bobs and odds and sods.but cheap

There's a.very attractive young man who works here and I come back every day just to see if he is working. This store has a great selection as well, my biggest dream is that Dimmeys store is given to me so I can always see the young man and have the best of the best always at my fingertip.
