When a recommendation is done to a business, stating that the consultation would be free, only to find out that it was to cost, that's bad enough. But when the work resulted in zero confirmed outcome, that is, that more tests would be required before a diagnosis could be made, that was enough. Also then to be hit with a higher charge than quoted. Could not recommend sorry.

After fitting an upgrade turbo and injector pump to my Patrol TD42Ti I had Andrew and Dean dyno the vehicle, and sort out a few other issues. I’m very pleased with the way it now goes, it cruises at highway speed with ease and has no problem towing our caravan. Thanks guys you did a great job.

Had a substantial amount of service/maintenance work done on my 1994 Toyota 80 series HD-T diesel at the start of December 2021. Received excellent honest advice, timely and professional service and a vehicle that has performed beautifully ever since. I’m very particular and this is a straight down the line, no nonsense kind of workshop, run by good people who know their stuff. Happy customer.

Quick service - part ordered and fixed - not the cheapest considering the part cost 1/5 of the total cost but I'd prefer to pay quality for someone who can sort it quick

Did ECU remapping and new Turbo installation, car is now smooth and gained good power and torque, can feel the difference when driving, highly recommend Andrew's experience and service.

Car was playing up on start up. He started the car a few times but it started perfectly each time. He did nothing, diagnosed nothing, then charged me $100. No honour amongst mechanics.

Andrew from Deiseltec did a fantastic job repairing our leaking injectors. We were expecting the worst and thought it would cost us a fortune. Sent my f 250 down there for a check up, they were thorough and supplied all relevant information for my 7.3 diesel engine and a few suggestions to better its performance and economy, worth the trip, cheers boys

Wanted a lot of work done to my patrol, got recommended to diesel tech as they supposedly do the lot. I rang and discussed what I wanted and waited for a quote that afternoon. 3 days later I rang asking how the quote was going and he said ‘yep I’ll have it early afternoon today for ya’ that was 3 weeks ago! I’ve since been to cando4x4 quoted me that day and booked in for the next.
If he just had of told me he was too busy or didn’t want to do the job that’s fine but don’t talk rubbish to me!
Will never go there and I won’t recommend anyone in the 4x4 club to go there!

Patrol lost power intermittently under load. Diesel-tec found the overboost, advised what needed to be done and fixed it. Goes as smooth as you could ever dream. Professional attitude. Knowledgeable and talks you through the options. Value for money as well. Great job and much appreciated.

GU Patrol was underpowered, blowing black smoke & surging. Took to our regular, highly valued mechanic who did a service and further testing but was unable to diagnose the problems. He recommended Diesel-Tec & after Andrew ran tests & worked on it, it's now the best it's ever been. More power & runs better than it's ever run before. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.
