DIESEL

I heard Diesel is closing their doors national wide. Loved their jeans but never had a good experience visiting their store (Emporium Melbourne).

Went in around 3pm Saturday Aug 20 2022 to see if there is anything left of my size, there were two staff there, the taller younger Asian (Korean?) guy was nice and friendly the other shorter older Asian guy was so aggressive and rude! I had a browse of the men’s jeans section, I folded one pair of jeans I took from shelf and put them back, maybe not as neat as they were before and I went to the other apparel side, the older guy IMMEDIATELY went after me grabbing the jeans with his two fingers grabbing like dirty and THREW THEM on the table! I looked at him but he went away to avoid eye contact but came back and forth to ABSOLUTELY SLAM the legs of the jeans on the table while folding them the way of his standard! So aggressive and rude it was not necessary at all, I went back to the jeans section to see the under $100 rack I didn’t check earlier, he started to ask me what my size is, stopped me touching the jeans on the shelve telling me that’s not your size! Basically told me to leave! I felt so uncomfortable his on me all the time so I left! He obviously has anger management issue and stressed out finding another job after losing this one, was just trying to take a p! Ss in his last days and couldn’t be bothered! But personality like this won’t last long any workplace!

Extremely rude staff/manager/supervisor. Drove customer away from the shop. Damaging the reputation of Diesel brand. I bought heaps of outfit from the Diesel boutique in Osaka. Always loved the brand. But Melbourne store is totally disappointing. Will not return if the same staff is working there.

Worst customer service ever! The staff was so so so so rude! She was unprofessional and had no politeness!

Big NO NO to the management/staff.

Quiet store but very tense vibe, not very friendly, no greeting no talking, staff were sale focused, tried on a pair of jeans in my length but waist didn’t fit-I couldn’t close the button, they don’t have one size up in the same length, sales person told me to suck in an try to close it.

Didn’t buy the jeans I tried on and their face changed, while walking out, the guy was doing weird hand gesture and face expressions to the lady, I looked back they stopped and pretended to talk normal kinda desperately for their sales.

I appreciated that you tried to find the right size for me, but does that mean I have to purchase them? I’m a big denim collector I have over 60 pairs of premium jeans including some limited edition of 14oz red listing selvedge for some big brands, you got to understand people decide not to purchase for many reasons, some you can’t even think of due to lack of knowledge, not just that you think they can’t afford your jeans, and you should respect that.

The behaviour of talking behind while your customer is still in store is ridiculously disappointing, it’s not cool. Never a huge fan of diesel jeans, big NO to their staff.

DO NOT BUY sale items on their website. They sell expensive products without any chance of size exchange. I didn’t even asked refund. Just exchange size but they refused because that’s their policy. And they avoided me. Terrible experience ever. I sent to email their customer service, then she said, why I don’t buy smaller size lol without refund? Same clothes again? I loved diesel clothes, your customer service was worst.

Took them 2 hours to figure out how to refund one tshirt I brought. Never buying from here again, what a waste of time.

Excellent service, helpful advice and my jeans are SO comfortable.
